正す- tadasu (dictionary form):
1. to correct; to reform; to amend; to redress
2. to adjust; to straighten
3. to ascertain; to confirm; to verify; to make sure of
4. to enquire of someone about something (inquire); to question
Sorry, my Japanese is not strong. I would like to check if the question means "from the question, which is the that needs to be corrected?"

ただしい（正しい） is an i-adjective, and not a conjugation of a verb ただす（正す）.

Hi I think you are confusing. The question "ただしいものはどれですか" means "which is the correct thing?".
To me, my answers are 1, 2 and 3 all correct. And 4 is the incorrect one. Can you please explain why the answer is 4? It has nothing to do with how the question is being ask!

No. YOU are confusing, or more likely YOU are misunderstanding. The question "ただしいものはどれですか" indeed means "which is the correct one?", and the correct answer is indeed #4, nevertheless you think #1, 2 and 3 are all correct, and #4 is incorrect. What do you think this means?

Hi this question could be answered by you nicely.
You put big capital letters for "YOU" for? I have done nothing but to post a simple question, politely.
My japanese is of a low level hence I needed help. You could have explain to me what does #4 means instead of being purposely difficult.

I know I am confused hence I am posting the question here at Japanese Reference so that fellow people who learnt Japanese can help and learn. I have asked twice previously why is the answer #4 and you have not reply at all. Instead, in your last reply, you mentioned "what do you think this means?"
Can you explain what does #4 means? If not, it's ok. I can get help from other people who is as knowledgable, has a good grasp of grammar (not "caps" certain words) and knows Japanese.

Before giving you my translation, may I ask you to give me your one? Or, do you mean you don't get the meaning of #4, but you think #4 is correct? This is the learning Japanese section. It's far easy just to tell you the correct translation, but we always want to help members to understand the language, by themselves.
