Japanese font on Android phone

for those technically minded, I downloaded a Japanese dictionary called JED from Google Play Store, but the font is displaying Chinese font (similar to the same issue I have with my browser), does anyone here know how to configure font to Japanese ones such as Meiryo for individual App in Android? I am using Galaxy Note running 4.0.3 ICS.

I have consulted XDA and androidforum, but no help so far, I hope Android user on JREF might be able to help me.

I downloaded an app called MoreLocale 2, which has the Japanese language pack. May or may not work.

I use Kaede IME Dictionary on my android. I have no problems to report.
