Japanese Cell Phones

I am leaving for Tokyo on Friday, and my parents want me to rent a phone when I get there, I have been looking at several different companies, but for those who have rented before what is the best company to rent from?

Hmm, that's a toughie because they're all so good. NTT Docomo is pretty good but so is Vodafone. But I, personally, would go for NTT Docomo because I like their phones more and I've only had experince with an NTT Docomo phone.

The Vodafone company is good..they send me the billing too by email...

Also, there is au by KDDI... I'd probably avoid NTT Docomo the second time around in the future if I had a choice.
