Japan vs Sweden

I love Hives too. I saw their concert in London and Austria by chance. Then they are coming to Japan!! I'm a big fun of them.

Hey there!

I live in sweden and I love japanese music especially. j-rock music but I haven´t heard or seen any kind of japanese music on the radio or TV here in Sweden. We who like japanese music find it in internet so I don´t know but I hope in future we can listen to them on the TV. I am talkin about japanese j-rock music now, I don´t listen any other kind of music. I love Dir en grey, and especially Shinya he is so hot!!

Wow, I was going to respond to the person who apparently likes Japanese music more than Swedish without actually having listened to Swedish music (heh) when I realized how old this thread was.

I've listened to one Norwegian artist, whom I liked a lot, but that's as close to Sweden as I got. I'd love to try them out sometime, though!

who is the Norwegian artist you listened to? I always think it's strange when people outside scandinavia listen to Norwegian music. I know that A-ha and Dimun Borger is big outside of Norway, and some other bands, but its strange to think about. I wonder if japanease people think the same

I heard Kari Rueslatten's Spindelsinn album. The first track, I Manens Favn, immediately pulled me in, and the language as I listened to it was very beautiful, so I'm hoping to find more of her albums :)

(Hope I got these names right, although I know I was too lazy to add accent marks)

Hey, Juvi, nice to meet you! :joyful: What are some good Swedish rock bands to listen to? I don't know anything about Swedish music.

This probably has nothing to do with it but... do NOT, I repeat do NOT listen to Broder Daniel.
They suck.
God I hate them.
Esp, the singer.

So.... Nice weather we have today eh? *outside of the window, rain and wind and pure greyness...* :p

Ya know... the fact that you said that, makes me wanna go listen to one of their songs or something... just to prove to myself that they suck :D

Haha
well, everybody has different taste, what I hate, you might love.
But they suck. The singer has to get wasted before he can get up on stage and "sing" (ha can't sing, i really really hate him). What kind of Artist is that???? Can't get up and perform without alcohol. (I don't mind people who drink but he does this before every show, without it he would't be able to go on stage... that's so low man!!)

*Child prey is very hatefull today, please feed her pink candy so she feels better* 🙂

🌹 awww -huggles you- I hope you feel better! -gives you tons fo pink candy- 🌹

iono, thats kinda stupid, you don't have talent then if you have to get drunk before singing  but still, I'm gonna give them a try :p

I think he is 😌 I feel I should know, sweden is my neighbour country. *feel embaresed*

.... i know nothing about swedish bands either 😌

*goes of searching for info*

tough swedish is more kinda metal right?

Ehm...

Talking about punk, Sweden and Japan have the biggest scene around the world, and as the main post said, they are very similar on all. Swedish punk is well known between punks all over Japan, and somebody told me the same thing in the other way... swedish punks like japanese punk a lot, specially Disclose, I wonder why :?

Heh, see you!!
