@johnnyG

Lovely shot!

@イェンス

Brilliant pictures! You're so lucky to get these shots without throngs of people. Simply amazing.

Is that a Fairlady Z in picture 5?

A good walk out with the dog, about 80min, but we did take a long break at the top. This is the same park (at the top) that you can see out across the city to the ocean, but this is the other direction. The place we usually sit and take a break is at the left end of the first pic. This isn't much of a hanami spot (locally), tho at first it looked like there were a lot of people around--esp. for a tuesday--but then it didn't seem like so many. Plenty easy to stay separated.

Sorry to be so cliché--cherry blossoms are so photographed that everything's been done before (and probably done better). There's supposed to be a really nice full moon tonight. Altho this place is closed then, I wonder how things would look in that light.

Very nice pictures.

Maybe also? (above is 'not quite', this one seems better-suited0

–> Note that they're イエンス's pics, that I've zapped into B&W mode (and played with some sliders).

Morning jog in Higashiyama
Do you take a camera with you when you go jogging? I admit that whenever i go jogging there are those moments when i wish i had taken a camera or at least a smartphone. All i take is just the keys to my apartment.

Back to the topic. Got my hands on this flashy fellow. No wheel fenders so i get my buttocks drenched occasionally. Maybe i'll attach them later, just like i attached the basket.

That is a great shot Thomas. I love the color added by the flowering bushes.

Dinner last night, my favorite--buri-kama. This is why I can't remember when I last had a steak.

That piece was ¥400, wife's was a little smaller/cheaper.

I hope this is still out like this when the blooms open up:

Stunningly beautiful, @johnnyG! 💐

It was also an exceptionally beautiful day today. Here are a few pictures from our ride around Uenohara, Yamanashi Prefecture (all iPhone). And socially distanced, of course!

Splendid shot
It is a good idea to go to the open air in the nice sunny day.
