In england they have this japan center where I got some Diru-cds (hihihi!), does anyone know if there is anything like that in Toronto, Vancoover, L.A. or Chicago?
My friend is going there! rargh!

there is in toronto. im downtown chinatown there's a building called Chinatown centre, and on the second floor there is a anime store called kikiwai. they have lost of j-cds such as Diru, xjapan, larc en ciel, moi dix mois and other jpop/rock albums. the last time i went they had Malice mizer posters too! ^^ i suggest ur friend check the place out.

dang. You people are lucky. I have to like off of internet sites and conventions. there are no shops like that where I live...-_-;;;

Thanks so much. Eeeek! Really looking forward to her return now!

Little Tokyo in LA. Kinokuniya is on the corner of 2nd and San Pedro St., on the little side street called something like "Astronaut Ellison Onizuka St.". They have the most recent Dir en grey releases as well as Macabre, Kisou and Kai for the older stuff. No singles except saku. There's also small shop about a block east of Kino that sells used CDs, games, anime and manga. Tons and tons of older CDs, I'm not sure if they have any Deg.

You guys are lucky. There's nothing where I am... I have to cross my fingers and hope whatever I want is on YesAsia, eBay, Amazon, etc. ...I don't even want to get them from conventions here... they overprice the already overpriced stuff XD (ex: $25 for The Final single... what?)

I usually find that only Jpophouse charges such extravagant prices for singles and albums at conventions. There are many others that are much more reasonable in their prices. Mikado LD for example, usually has a huge selection of Dir en grey CDs with normal prices. Of course, I don't know what conventions they maintain a presence at so I can't say if they're at the ones you go to.
