Yea man i got those aswell. ive basically got all the initial d anime....eps 15 and 16 of 4th stage gets released sumtime next month. keen on that !!!!!
man im on battle level 16 (went to the city today and raced.....tis been a while).....and won about 10battles and lost 5 with my EVOIII....how do u battle up faster??? My win ratio is like 70%....and ive been on battle level 16 for a while now.... ???

urrr... it tooks me around 300+ batles.
200+ wins and 100+ loses.
now its about 65 percent winning percentage. hehe...
well, that was my car since version 2. I only have one full tuned...>_<

battle level 16? this might be a lil off but it takes a hell of alot of wins to get it that high, i have a 90% win ratio with like 3 loses and 15 wins and im only like battle level 3, i might be wrong and if you race high enough people you get more hey i dont know that for sure but some stuff that i know for sure is this a car has full cuztimization at 120k points. After that it can go faster compared to what some people on this forum say from 120k to 990k all those lil ecu adjustments and such do make a slight difference a Capaccino on myogi with about 300k points goes top speed 207 my capaccino with 800k goes 208 and is about to hit 209 some people say there is no difference between cars after 990k points but alot of us beleive thats a lil off because i watched a team member with 4 mill pts race a guy with the same car and cuztimization but the guy had 5 mill pts and even though they shifted at the same points the guy with 5 mill pts blew past him at the begining. I have come to the conlusion that some of the people on this forum giving advice and saying stuff arent all they say comparing stuff to the proven facts. Even with what some of the people in this forum saying with battle racing the quesiton is how many of them race with boost on? cause if they use boost there is a method to win almost 100% of the time even with a difference in skill level cant be a big gap but its true. Hey maybe im wrong and the gaming machines in Australlia, USA and japan are different i have heard rumers of it but not hard proof so im doubtful here is my two sence on that.

Depends on your car personally if its 4wd i brake but im not the greatest driver with those, if its 2 wheel drive i recommend letting go of the gass a good second or so befor the turn and going around the corner and then as soon as you see you have made it safely push the gas. Now that method of when to let go on the gas is just a safe way as you get better with it and the maps youll know when to let go. The reason just letting go of the gas is in my opnion better than breaking with 2wheel drive cars is you dont lose the rpms as fast when letting go of the gas as you do when just pushing the brake once you get the hang of letting go of the glass then you can pump to keep the rpms even higher and still make the turn.

Well, fulltune adds a better turning, speed and acceleration. But I don't think there is difference between 5M points and 1M points. The maximum points for the fulltune is 1M points.
here is an opinion. Guyz, do you think some cars are slower on acquiring battle levels? I'm not sure. But I think there is... :sorry:

if u want to get a evo3 option a just for the misfiring system I WILL SAY! do not change the muffler OR change the tuning option, because if u do u will still have the misfiring engine INSIDE the car, but it will not longer release the backfire. Only one muffler releases the misfiring system/anti-lag system backfire and that is the INITIAL D muffler. So if u want the misfiring system for ur evo3 dont change the muffler and stick only to option a.
um.........trying to get some techniques from the initial d anime for the initial d game isnt really a good idea...the anime uses the drifting technique 'Heal-And-Toe' which i find hard to do in the game. i guess watching other peoples techniques and stealing them is a good idea ^^ (like other people have stated in this thread).
i did a check on my akina speed, and before the corner, before i braked, my speed was 154 (dammit already forgot -_____________-) or something similar.....
about the trueno AE86 (AE-Hachi-Roku) and AE86 levin (Also AE-Hachi-Roku ^^) the trueno is far better than the AE86 levin. (according to the rankings, not driver skill). Also according to the rankings (last time i checked) the AE85 Levin (AE-Hachi-Go) was also ranked higher than the AE86 levin..

hey guys....was on retreat for the last couple of days...i battle leveled up to 17 the day i left....cause was early and went to the city for a bit ...
who will win...bunta or takumi???
well i would think bunta would rip takumi so hard....as seen in 4th stage like eps 7 (i think)... but then again takumi was driving the 86 and bunta driving the GC8V.

....in eps 14....bunta recieves the GC8V, and he makes takumi do the delivery in it. takumi finds that the GC8V is more stable than the 86 and finds he can drive faster in it....

i know this is a bit late but...i did shift into 5th but it would act weird...idk what was going on with my car...but it's ok now...and i also recently bought a card with bunta's wrx...and the handling threw me off for my first few races...and i'm just going on and on...so i'll stop...yeah...

correct ^^, as shown in 1st stage episode 22 (i think) were bunta drives the hachi-roku on akina with yuuichi, bunta ripped akina hard with the hachi-roku AND he wasn't driving seriously....

refering to the rankings on dry the 85 levin is higher than the 86 levin, on wet it is the other way round and on snow the 85 is higher ranked. to see more on rankings go to http://www.initiald.org

I'm looking for other players or teams to hook up with. I've been playing solo since last month, and I've gone to as far as Tsuchisaka, whereas i got stuck on Taku. None of my friends play arcade, neither do I. This is the only game I've ever played and im so hooked on it. I learned through watching other players, and self study. I still think i suck a lot so if there be any kind flips out there who wanna help me out, please send me a PM and tell me where to rendezvous. Peace.

I have a question for the people knows how to drift?
are the drifting method like this......
first, before the hairpin, I shift down the gear
than I press the the gas with the brake at the start of the hairpin
next I stop pressing the brake and keep on press three quarter of gas in the middle of the hairpin
last I go out the hairpin at full and shift up the gear
it that the right method to drift?

no idea the method of drift....i just go in - out at at very wide angle then cut a cross in to the hairpin, shift down, relase the throttle then tap throttle till u gain are at the apex of the corner then slam the gas down....
also has any1 passed LOTS (lord of the streets) more than 3 times cause ive passed it 3 times.... but im stuck with tomo on happ....dunno wot his name is in the game but hes the guy with the yellow ciivic with a carbon fibre hood...
