Initial D Arcade Stage Ver. 3

i doubt that, but im not saying its not possible. On the first hairpin on Akina. i can reach about 155-160km/h before the hairpin (im driving an EVO3....think u get like 165+ with a AE86), then when i enter the hairpin, my entry speed is about about 145-155km/h, but my exit speed is always around 135+.... when i try to drift it around the corner, i can get lie 145km/h easy, but my exit speed is too fast and my car cant grip the ground, so im always running into the barrier. i dunno... i guess i have to see it to believe it.

yea but i havnt played initial d in a while....been having exams. last exam is thiw wed morning so porb go into the city after and go hard. any1 wanna cum race me???.....my car is crap now, cause i did car inspection and accidently changed tuning to Customisation B, so i gotta get all my parts back.....lost the mis-firing system, but should be to hard to get it back :)

what we're talking about is taking the turn at that speed, not your speed before you enter the turn... -___-
 
how could u guys get that good??? I can't even get 155 at the usui corner by using my evo3 without hit the wall.
 
sif on usui.....my average speed on usui is like 185km/h-ish. when u race on initial d. try no to brake. make braking ur last resort, unless u really ahve to brake. try making driving faster ur number 1 priority. not making ur number 1 priority not hitting the wall. (dunno if that made sense). ok in other words. try to drive fast, even if u hit a wall, ur judgement upon a corners entrance will become better the more u play a certain map. i suggest racing on akagi alot. its easier to get a good feel on that map cause its kinda got a smooth rythym to it. hope that helps
 
this few days I trythe corner at akagi. I did the hold mountain 2.54 is that all right time for a beginner
 
lol.... im suprised u never finished up with 'times up'. i think about 2:45 is alright for a beginner. cant remember wot i got when i was a beginner. i dunno im the wrong man to answer that question.
 
finish the hold mountain is really simple. but somehow I always trailing behind the guy like few meters 😌

ahhh.whoops.. ^^ my bad..... i never really looked at my speed during the turn.....im scared if i try it ill crash -_-...ill do legends of the street on akina and see my speed during the hairpin, but i can never find time to play now, but right before the turn, before i brake my speed is around 145 ^^
 
145km/h is seriosuly a weak speed for an evo3 before u brake for the first hairpin on akina. r u flooring it???? cause like even a stock car go goes faster than that.
 
evo3_man: maybe there is a problem on setting up your evo3. I suggest you try the rs watanabe wheels (black). it should now drift on usui. 👍

auska|Faith: men I haven't seen some one could have clear up the corners on usui... evn without braking. but your theory is right. I'll try to be speeding rather than fearing to hti the walls. :sorry: nice trick. 👍

so far so good... the best exit speed I made at the first corner of akina dh is about 136... I don't, but I'm not sure if some one could have clear it 145?? ☝ I don't know...

yea on usui...i can sumtimes rip it so hard.....i get so close to the wall....like less than a cm.....so yea...i suggest trying to go as fast as u can and not, notr tying to hit the wall.....works for me :)

i think 2'25" would be a good time (using an evo, right?)

again we're talking about taking the turn at that speed not your entry or exit speed. but also again, seriously it can be done - boost on. just trail behind by, 200m+, i guess.

sorry but i think 2'54" is a little slow. try working your way to 2'35" - that'd be a good enough time that you can still cut down.

what cevil is talking about is... the parts that you "buy" affect the your car's handling. for example:

certain mags make the car more drifty than usual, some give you more grip.

large spoilers like the Kansai GT wing, create more downforce, making the car more stable on long straights but could affect your maneuverability on turns. small or no spoilers make the car drifty, but in some cases, can be best for certain cars.

well actually i don't look at my speed as well - i rely more on "feeling" if the car can make the turn or not ^_^
 
yea.... i dont really look at speed. i guess u can feel it through the wheel if ur goin fast or not.....i think im gettin like 2:26 on akagi....not sure....wil have to check......and does any1 know a website that has the parts for initial d that says wot it does to ur car....for example the wheel mags, spoiler, bodykit (as in the front bumper) and all that other stuff???

dude i dont have any tips to practice at home....(ive never taken the game that seriously) but mayb u should just watch ppl drive b4 u play....u can learn alot....plus itll save u alot of money as i know this game is very obsessive....just watch how ppl attack corners and accelerating techniques and stuff. but i dunno....just watch ppl who r good at the game and steal their technique :P

i don't know man. i rip it too but depending on the turn, i sometimes hit the wall and lose like 10-20 mph. but when i tap the brake, i lose only 2 mph. .... O.o?
 
na if u practise.....i swear there is a mad line to take.....when u exit the turn.....ur like right next to the wall....where all hte brown leaves are....and u go so fast.
 
maybe here is an effective hint to practice at home:

if you have friends who are good on it, try to study their driving skills with a video camera. and when you got home, review your past mistakes. :p (this is unfair, but its a part of strategy) hehe... 😌

or perhaps, if you have a wild imagination, you may also try to dream the course while you take your nap. :sorry:

replay the initial d episodes maybe a worth to try. :-) I'm also doing this at all the time. hehe

auska|faith: I'm not sure. but maybe try to search at yahoo... "initial D active X' this is a forum where people spend their times talking about game car parts. hope it helps. 😌
 
i watch some of the episode and the manga, but it like brake a lot in the tv but it doesn't seems u need to press that many brake
