Initial D Arcade Stage Ver. 3

I am using a evo3 too how can I drift at the corner and I always can't beat thoese guy at usui.how sad

hey kids...i started playing version 3 back in feb or so...and yeah i suck...and i drive an evo III...and for some odd reason my car stalls at 6000 rpm alot (4th gear) *shrugs* oh well.

@padresmooth
Mayb u should try shifting up into 5th gear.

@Evo3 man
I drive an evo3, the way i make my car drift is when u come to a hairpin, take the inside lane, then quickly move to the outside lane and then turn to clear the hairpin. whilst on the hairpin, shift down and shift up straight away, in the span of about 1sec. this will tend to make ur car drift no matter wot car ur in (yea also shift down first b4 the hairpin). :)

another thing
bro if ur driving on irohazaka, u gotta brake for most of the course

Bro,i think you've got some misunderstanding of this game;you know why some of the experts go so fast,that normal people cant do that? just check the "Internet Ranking" results and compare with yours.

i'll tell you why,don't break if you can.

and i can tell you how super freak make a perfect turn without hitting wall.
first,let's see the "Akina course",the frist big right turn is very important. before turning right just make you car goes left lane, then force ur steering wheel goes right and turns left immediately. during that,you should upshift and sownshift quickly 3 times

the best fast car for "Akina course" is the AE86. i used to drive this car for 2'59"33

i turned the first turn with 148km/h

@White Comet

I think im racer level 16 and battle level 16 or 17... cant go tomroorw....got skool....and got exams starting friday....can u go like sumtime next week....like after wednesday morning cause my last exam is wed morning :)....

for sum reason Aaron Tan, i dont believe u did the first corner at 148km/h....the fastest ive ever done it is like 138km/h and it was like a fluke...meh...mayb u can....but ive never seen any1 go that fast on the first corner....also on a maps like iro....braking is the most important part....what decides the winner is where u brake and when u stop braking.

wee 😊
/me goes buying a ps2 and that game :-)

@Aaron Tan
man dont brake on every corner for iro.....*sigh* i said most of the course some corners on iro are possible to do without braking....my time for iro is like 3:10 i think (im slow ^^)

@asuka Faith
level 16 and battle level 16 or 17 T_________________________T i cant win...... i'm battle lvl 4 and racer before i quit....T________________________T

thanks for the tips. I can drift a little bit, but I still lose.Am I really bad at initial d.

yea u r bad....na jk man...
every1 starts off bad....no one is full 1337 straightaway just practice on maps like akina and akagi....then when ur pretty decent at it....try the other maps

just to let people who r curious i made a mistake on my racer and batttle.......its racer lvl 4 and battle lvl 8

@evo3
yea u get points for time trial and after u play 50times u gotta do car inspection. which basically means renewing ur card

on wot map....u basically have to use the brake on every map except myogi and usui

mm... on myogi yes but on usui, you have to use the brakes, otherwise you'll hit the wall (and lose speed, of course) especially on the sharp right before and after the checkpoint (fastest i did was 165 and 173, respectively, w/ an evo4).

actually he's right. you can go that fast on the first hairpin in Akina... boost on. lol. also in version 2 plus boost on. LOL. j/k

*i did 150 one time on irohazaka using an evo4 because of boost on :p

but seriously i think the fastest you can go on that turn is 140 using an AE86 Trueno - i've seen one of the best drivers in our area do a Time Attack (using a Trueno, of course) and his exit speed was 139 on that first turn O.o his total time was 2'58"8xx T__T

@CereberalLM

u dont need to use the brake on usui. with those 2 sharp corners, stay on the inside, then as u approach the corner, at the last second let go of the gas, move to the outside and then turn in for the corner straight away. shift down up, down, up accelerate when ur at the apex of the corner then shift down up, this will allow u to powerslide around the corner at the fastest speed possible. u can get like 170km/h+ easy. hence no need for the brake, using the brake makes u lose too much speed and it takes time to get it back up. on a map for usui, u can lose to sum1 by just takin a corner to slow.

yea and any1 in sydney wanna race???

Refering to the first hairpin of akina how aaron tan reached 148 km/h. It is possible my evo3 reached around 145+ entry speed on the first hairpin.....my exit speed was like 135 or so (maybe lower or higher, wasnt really watching) so it is possible to reach 148 on the first hairpin
