Heyhey, welcome to JREF!!
If I may be so rude to point something out: "I am female" and "oresama.." sounds a bit weird in one sentence as "oresama" is a word to denote a male.
..Doesn't always matter though as the last time I was in Japan I heard a few women say "oremo oremo" when they meant "me too, me too"! (I would have expected "watashi mo")
You're welcome nonetheless! I don't listen to J-Rock though, so I hope to see some of your posts on other topics!

I once met a female student of the language (American) who insisted on using masculine words because she didn't want to be feminine. It jarring to hear her speak, referring to herself as boku or ore, and ending sentences with "zo!" and "ze." Very bizarre!

Welcome to Jref, although usually I'm wary of people who say "ore-sama" whether the speaker be male or female!

to leonmarino : Yes, it is as Nice Gaijin said, I enjoy using 'oresama' because people treat me differently and are more wary towards me, just like Mikawa ossan.
