Its spelled in English, dictating that its original pronounciation is like of the story, Jekel and Hyde.

But the Japanese accent gives it an 'o' at the end of it. Haido.

His actual name is Hideto, but his nickname is Hyde, but it is pronounced in Japanese "Haido". Japanese call him this way, and of course Hyde himself pronounces it this way too, I have heard it from his own mouth.

maybe you are confused with "Hide" who was from another band. I think "X-Japan" but please correct me if I'm wrong about the name of band.

Actually Hyde's name use to be Hide [way back before indes and everything], BUT people were getting him and X Japan's Hide confused, so he changed it to Hyde with a 'y'. As for pronunciation, Hyde is pronounced 'Haido', but not because of Japanese pronunciation, but so people would not get him and X Japan's Hide confused during chats/interviews/music shows/gossip talk/etc.

Every once and awhile though, I hear announcers saying Hyde [hide] and not haido [EX: MOON CHILD]... probably has to do with X Japan's Hide being deceased, so now there is no confussion.

today i tried singing Nepenthes (how embarrasing)

that song is so freakin impossible

He screams "I wanna lick you"

den he did (the impossible?) a switch into a falsetto or something with "seduc"

den switches again to sing the rest .

I CANT DO IT!!!!!!!! LOL maybe thats why im not a singer.

jokes aside i think Hyde's voice is freakin powerful and amazing, but yet its so delicate in some songs. His voice is a true gem. Another freakin impossible song to sing is Hyde's Prayer, my god immmmpossibleeeeee

He can. Believe me. I got Smile Tour DVD He is amazing. He looks good, sings like it wouldn't be live concert Well yeah thats it

Hmmm...His voice isn't exactly as great when he's live, yes...However, it could be faulty/crappy equipment, something else, and/or the fact that he's moving around. His voice seems perfect when he's sitting down during a live, so, yeah...And even in the times when his voice isn't at it's most amazing, it's still better than anyone else's voice.
