How to sound more Japanese and less foreign

I was hoping there was a way I could sound more Japanese instead of foreign. Japanese is a great language to speak especially if you sound native since they sound so awesome. Any tips?

if you are a native English speaker try to speak in more monotone type fashion. Native English speakers tend to add lots of up and down tones when speaking Japanese, which is unnecessary and sounds unnatural.
