How to solve the human overpopulation crisis

I don't like Nazism but I do believe in Darwinism which is a core of Nazism if that's what you are referring to.

Nazism is still better than Islamic fundamentalism that trick stupid people to reproduce kids for a imaginary friend up in the sky.

It's ironic that the people who link Nazism to Darwinism are almost all anti-evolutionary creationists of different religions ..... who um, believe in imaginary friends up in the sky!

FYI:
Darwin's Connection to Nazi Eugenics Exposed ? The Primate Diaries

I am interested to know what you don't like about nazism ... because from what I have read in your posts on this forum, a different picture is painted.

That's because they know that Nazism have a negative impression in the West, so in order to bring down Darwinism they link it to Nazism in order do destroy science. Those religious people have their own agenda.

While I do not support Neo-Nazism and any form of extreme nationalism, but I do see why they are popping out in various parts of the world in recent years around the world, even in Japan (Japanese far right is no different from Nazism in their basic ideology).

With the Jews controlling the banking sectors and bribing politicians, rampant unemployment, social inequality and Muslim reproducing like rabbits in Europe, I would not be surprised if the next major conflict in Europe is about the people of Europe standing up for their rights and protecting their resources.

I have to admit you've got a point, FW. We breed dogs and plants to perfection, or to what we think are perfect traits. Still we (rightly, I think) refrain from human eugenics.

Look into the eugenics laws applied in the USA even as late as the 1970s.

yeah, I know.

Then why did you say we refrain?

Human history is littered with attempts. Couples routinely have prenatal genetic testing performed these days in many western countries. China's one child policy ensured massive numbers of abortions based on a genetic trait.

I'm not saying whether i think it's a good or bad thing, just saying that we do not, in fact, refrain from attempts at eugenics as a species.

Because for the most part we do refrain. In the eighties, there were articles cropping up in news magazines about how we'd be able to select blue eyes and other traits for our children and most people cringed.

Yes, there have been and are attempts. China had a one-child policy but it was the parents, not the government, that threw away so many daughters. (It was horrible, I know).

But, we've got nothing like FW is suggesting. Plastic surgery, yes. Killing the ugly? No.

I never said kill, putting words in my mouth. I said making them infertile.

I would like to be able to select traits for my children, who doesn't want the best chance of success for their offspring? I want my children to have the looks of a German and IQ of a Shanghainese.

When you play Skyrim, do you random choose a race or do you carefully study the trait of each race and choose one that's best suited to your play style.

Because for the most part we do refrain.

But we don't. In western countries it is commonplace to have genetic testing performed, and if anomalies are discovered parents are quite often terminating. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Who knows what fragility we may be introducing into the species by culling alternate genetic paths, or what pain we may be saving? Yet either way it's eugenics on a significant scale.

I'm not sure I see a major difference between a government enforced eugenics program and massive amounts of individuals performing the same thing due to the one child policy. In both cases the same result due to a government policy.

i'm done here, FW is not following the ethics of dialogue and denys what he said in his early posts, different words same meaning.

I think it would be pretty lousy to live in China over the next few decades. Having a society where there are significantly more males than females (due to everyone wanting a son) is just a recipe for aggression. Too many single guys, too much competition. Definitely eugenics gone wrong.

Once again gullible nahadef has proved he should stick to drawing his stick figures. Obviously lack the capacity ignore bias in Western media and do independent self research on the issue to verify facts before he open his big mouth.

China has a sex ratio of male:female of 1.06. There are 106 males for every 100 females. Yeah every significant. You never hear news about sex ratio in United Arab Emirates in western media.

Many we should all go to Russian to find a bride, they only have 0.86 and Russians chicks are hot.

Sad you have to resort to nonsensical insults when you take offence at someone having a less than stellar opinion of China. I want to see you draw something even a single person would buy, who isn't your mother. Then you can start throwing stones.

Hmmm. UAE has 9 million people. China has a billion. A slight gender imbalance in China dwarfs a massive one in UAE. That's 100 million single, lonely, frustrated guys. UAE? A few million (and it is pretty well known that outside of Israel, there is a lot of sexual frustration in the Arab world).

China may have whatever ratio it has now... across ages 15-64. But looking at the young generation, and the statistics are different. Good job circling the 15-64, since it supports you. Now look at under 15, you know, the statistic right next to the one you want people to look at. Near 6 guys for 5 girls. That's a lot of bitter bachelors to come. Hence why I said:

I know you're a racist, and an utter China fanboy, unable to take any criticism of it whatsoever, no matter how fact based it may be. So, your petty insults and knee-jerk defense of China don't surprise me at all. I also know that despite being as handsome and smart as you claim (think?) you are, you're trolling an Internet forum on a Friday night. Also not surprising. I'm married with a child. What's your excuse, self-proclaimed uber-mensch?

Thanks posting that image of facts in your post so I don't have to dredge up what you already know: the future of China is a self-made sausage party.

Oop, my bad. I apologize for that error.

Re: Skyrim. I don't know. I played my last videogame in 1984.

@ Wonko: But, aren't those anomolies 100% health-related in the first place?

Yes, generally, but it's a fine line and as we as a species get more comfortable with choices like these the line blurs. As well, once the genetic information is available, parents can make any choice they wish based on any reasoning they have. A disorganized, individually instituted eugenics program can have similar effects to an organized, centrally run program.

Yep, looks like there's an article about that in the new Popular Science, which I just received today.

I guess FinancialWar's "I love ebola" post was deleted. I just wanted to say you'd better hope it doesn't come to China.
Lots of densely populated cities there, as you know.

Post reported.
I'll see if Thomas will delete your post and ban you for a day or he's just having a go at me.

Unlike your posts about Ebola and black people and your poor children who will have to live in a future world dominated by blacks, Alec's post is not racist. You waltz in here after a temporary ban and seem to have learned nothing.

You are walking on very thin ice. Your next ban will be permanent.

Just to be clear, I don't want it to come to China either (or anywhere). My in-laws are still there, as are many friends.
I'm simply saying that China is densely populated and ebola is already hard enough to control in nations that are much less densely populated.

Reminds me of chaos theory, introduced to the general public largely by Michael Crichton's 'Jurassic Park.' When it comes to biology & nature in general, things seldom turn out the way we think they will.

Wow, what a piece of work! I didn't know there were still people who would openly advocate eugenic "solutions."

I have no wish to beat up on a ghost, but just to make it clear, the international crime of genocide includes "imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group," under the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. What is Genocide?

I always wondered how he managed to avoid getting banned. Full of hate and happy to let it spill all over the boards
