How do you wear your watch?

I think most people wear their watch on their left wrist, face up, like this:

I don't wear one very often, but like the awkward person I am I wear mine on my right wrist, face down.

Mine moves about on my wrist, sometimes it is facing up, sometimes down.

One good thing is that the face is obsured by a cover which opens like a camera aperture, so I have to open it to see the time.
It stops me keep glancing my watch if I am bored.

Left wrist, face up. I have to wear it above the knuckle bones though, otherwise it irritates the hell outta me!
I can't wear anything on my right wrist because it scrapes against my guitar while I'm playing - hence the left.

Also, my watch is 'back to front' - the hands circle anti-clockwise. Someone bought me a clock like that as a novelty present, but when I felt how much easier it was for me to read, I searched out a backwards watch too, on a website for lefties! XD Now, the only problem is I find regular clocks difficult to read! I almost said the wrong time in my Japanese speaking exam because of that, and I don't think anyone would have accepted my excuse!

I only wear my watch when I go to work, and the alarm is set for 4:18 pm, 12 minutes before I leave, so I don't stay later.

I heard that there used to be a thing for wearing watch for the Japanese, and that's how women were/are supposed to wear theirs. Just like how they have a certain way for everything else.

I didn't know that! My reason is that when I was little I had a weakness in my left wrist which meant I had to wear a bandage on it, so my watch got moved to the right. And it's upside down because the buckle would dig in when I was writing if I wore it face up.

Oh, that happens to me, too. The skin around where I wear my watch gets irritated easily. I have a few scars on my right wrist from scratching.

Everytime I've had a nice watch, the face has been bashed and scraped because I tend to forget I have a watch on. At work, I do so much typing and work with my hands on a desk that a watch gets in the way. If/when I do wear one, it's on the left wrist with the face down to prevent the wear and tear I used to inflict on watches as a kid.

Left wrist, face down and loose. I don't like a tight watch. The reason I wear it face down is that the face used to catch against the back of my hand and annoy me, so I turned it around. If that one is away for repair I do use a fob watch.

I'm right handed, so, naturally, the watch goes on the right wrist, face up. ^_^ I recently lost my old watch, though, and have often found myself raising my right arm to check the time, only to get a splendid image of my wrist.

I've never really worn a watch but if I did, I'd wear it on my left wrist with the face up. I'm left-handed.

I usually just use my cellphone to see what time it is.

Usually wear my watch on the left, face up. That's because it gets all scratched up if I wear it on the right, because I do most things with my right hand. And it also annoys me when writing if I wear it on the right.

But this all only goes when I actually have a watch to wear... took it to the juweler like two weeks ago to get it fixed and still haven't heard anything about it! Starting to worry...

Left wrist, face up. I've worn nothing but digital watches ever since I got my first one as a birthday present when I was 16, and even though my latest is waterproof down to 300 fet, I always take it off whenever I wash my hands or bathe. Go figure!

I don't wear a watch.. When I need to know the time I look at my mobile phone, which I usually "wear" in my left pocket.
I like not having a watch though, makes me feel free.. Kinda. More mobile. I think.
