Hello,
So wonderful to have a chance to meet people of diverse culture and languages. It would be such a wonderful experience for me to talk or chat with people of asian background and eventually to visit japan.
More to learn from one another.
And, eh!!!
how good can good be?

We all have a chance to find out

Tim

That is the beauty of the internet!

I hope you will find what you are looking for here at the forum. There are many invaluable posts to be found about Japan not only by the people of Asian background but also by the non-Asian members who were/are on the same boat as you.

Check them out, and if you have any questions, ask!

Welcome to JREF! 🙂

Thanks.I will follow your advice. I am considering relocating to Japan and precisely that's why i joined this forum so i can get a first hand glimpse of the do and do nots
And tips on what to do to facilitate my relocation.

Hello, daramola. My name is Hirashin, a Japanese man living in Kyoto , Japan.

It seems that English is the official language in your country. Is your first language also English?

Why are you considering living in Japan?

Do you understand Japanese enough to live here? People in Japan rarely understand English. So you have to speak Japanese to live here comfortably.

Hirashin

Yes English is the official Language in Nigeria. Because we were colonised by Great Britain. Though there are several native languages spoken in Nigeria depending on the region or part of the country.

Like you rightly affirmed: I cant speak Japanese, but that shouldnt be a stumbling block dont you think?

Though i just floated m company, I am considering setting up a bilateral trade agreement with a supplier of electronics, laptops and even office equipments from Japan.

That meant, I could be coming to Japan at least to see for myself and enjoy the serene environment.

Though a friend of mine is still trying to suggest i do that in china!!

Where these things are cheaper, i guess he was trying to suggest

Any way thanks for welcoming me. I hope to speak to you one day

Konnichiwa (Hello), Tim san.

I see your country is politically unstable while Japan is rather stable.

Japan has not been involved in any war since the end of WWII. It has become a peaceful country, I believe.

But it depends on the person whether Japan is a good place to live or not. After coming to Japan, judge it yourself.

Hirashin

Welcome!

Talk about you country, please.
I think there aren't many people from African countries here :(
What are the native languages of Nigeria? Which do you speak?🙂
