Please listen to my AudioBlog

I just listened to leonmarino's voiceblog for the first time, and I have to say....his voice is not quite what I was expecting.....
What were you expecting?! Some kind of Doraemon? :D

Speaking of Doraemon, who's good at doing an impression of him? I find it very hard to imitate his voice.. My girl's sister is pretty good at it and made me laugh out real loud the last time we video-chatted. For some reason, Doraemon's voice always makes me happy!!

In other words: if you dare, record your best/worst Doraemon expression and put it on the net!! I will too in due time, but first I'm gonna search the net for some tips.. 😊
Kyoko, you know, your voice is very sexy in a cute cute kind of way!😌
Wow, I only just recently decided to click on your signature link, cool blog, YOUR VOICE IS SO UNREAL!, very cutsey!, but in a nice way. 👍
When will I get such comments? 😭

I just listened to Leon's last update.............Holy cow your Japanese is good. If that was you in the beginning speaking VERY fast. Man I wonder if I will ever get to that point.........

Thanks for the compliment! But please do not feel bad!! I am half-Japanese.. I was raised speaking Japanese!! 😌 I actually kind of feel ashamed sometimes my pronunciation isn't 100%.

But where there is a will, there is a way! A friend of mine studied Japanese (also at a university), and I can tell ya his Japanese is near-native! Pretty scary actually. In other words, if he can do it, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't reach that level!! Ganbare!! 👍

nurizeko-san, why don't you join us and let us hear your Scottish English? I would want to hear the accent!!:-)

Having a faint understanding of how accents work (rhotic vs. non-rhotic, etc), my biggest problem with English dialects is local vocabulary. I recall a scene from the movie "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," where one Englishman retells a story to another, and there are subtitles (in English) so the audience can understand what they're talking about! In that case, the story was laden with slang terms that utilized a rhyming scheme (bird's nest = chest, nuclear sub = pub, and so on). I found a transcript, see if you can make sense of it!

even better, I found a youtube video of this scene. Warnings all around for language and violence!

I wonder who in this forum speaks like the guy in the video ...

I wish I had chose to study Japanese when I was in school but for me it's more of a matter of time and resources. I would sign up at the local university but 85% of the time the classes are held when I am at work.

doinkies finally updated my VoiceBlog today...please listen to the new entry!

Yeah, I think your voice sounds slightly different when you speak Japanese. To me, you sound older when you speak English, and a bit younger when speak Japanese. By "older" I mean "maturer", not like "obachan" or anything, hehehe.

Anyways, nice post, doinkies-chan" Please keep it up!👍

Hi =] Hmm... anyone have any ideas of what I should do for my voice blog?

Kyoko no voice blog ha bakkari hajimete mita. Tanoshikata 🙂
mashite...Aki Chan no koe ga natsukashii :sing:
(^3^) Chuuuuuuuuuu~!

Haha, you have to watch out Kyoko... if a lady like you ask frank for a new Jacket, he will send you money to buy one haha.

(thanks for making me smile :D)

:D Uhihihi, that's my pleasure, Davey-san!

Now, I'm getting more excited about hearing Mars Man-san's music. Is it coming soon? Anyone know?

Suspense is hollywood's number one sales point....hee, hee, hee.....and I won't let you down...(and no...for those who don't know, I'm not gonna do a Beatle's number)...., I'm gonna do a good, ole-fashioned, accoustic rock blues number. ALABAMA BLUES here we go......MM

Wow Kyoko-san well done!

In the name of learning spirit, don't be over-concious about making mistakes. As long as u make mistakes AND learn from it, it's all that matters.

If I were to post in Japanese, I would be sweating in my seat. >.<

What you should do is post more often, if you think you cannot express yourself well, then post it in Japanese, I'm sure fellow forumers would love to help you in expressing yourself.

You are not alone, you have us!

Hope to see you post more!

Sorry for being so late, everybody. I hope this goes. Alabama Blues.

I had to record it four times to get it right and still made some boo boos.

KYOKO DESU chan, I'm sorry about the slip in your name...I was just kind of tied up mentally with the number of recording times and concentrating on what was to come. I'm sorry.

I'll do Swamp Boggling next time...that'll be for Mike Cash and Mikawa Ossan.

Thanks, everybody !!

Ohhhh! Mars Man san, I've just listened to your song now and I'm totally impressed!
It's just so very, very good! I know little about what blues is but I liked it. ^_^
You sing so well and your voice is so nice, it was just what I had imagined.
Thank you very much for sharing with us, I enjoyed it so much.

Cue

Wow...blush, blush...Thank YOU Cue !! I realize though, now, that I had the mike too close to the guitar and it drowned out my voice a little bit too much, so that maybe it will be hard to understand the words.

On the next song (I hope to put on by this weekend or mid-next week) I'll fix that, and it is a slower song too--Swamp Boggling.

ALSO !!! It is so nice to see you here on JREF posting again. I know you must have been very, very busy...I missed you, and so did the moles out in the garden. MM

Well, this number is dedicated to Mike Cash and Mikawa Ossan. Why? Well, just because the song is Southern in its style--so a little country'ish? AND because when one is not trying to find that love in life, nay, even trying to avoid it, one finds it !!

BUT...this is for all you guys too. May the love of your life, that right person, come along and make you sing too !! (and I'm thinking of you Uncle Frank, too...that lovely girl is right there with you !! )

AND HERE'S THE SONG: SWAMP BOGGLING!

Kyoko... I don't understand what you're saying in your "down" voiceblog thing.... >.< I mean, I understand, because I don't understand what you're trying to saay.... lol ><

"Sherm down. Hit me up when you're living." Right? >.<

I have no idea what "sherm" is, but "hit me up" is like telling them to call u i think, but "...when you're living." i don't understand ><<!!!

sorry

lol

Mars Man-san, thank you soooooooo much for the singing! Although I was away from the forum for a while, a very nice person sent me the file and I decided to come back and let you know how HAPPY I am to hear it!

Hontou ni arigatou gozaimashita, when I heard you mention my name, I almost started crying, yes, it was really nice and great.

Hey, I think you have a very 艶のある声(つやのあるこえ), sorry I do not know how to say it in English. Please keep it up, you know, you have a fan here!

Allow me to encourage the dissemination of "mad props" to Mars Man for leading Kyoko back home for one last hurrah. ;-)

Kyoko_desu san !! Thank you so very, very much !!👍 :( Your words too, bring a tear to my eye.

If there were anything I could ever do to at least get you to stop by from time to time, I would...please just let me know.

The song Alabama Blues was dedicated to you and Tsuyoiko. Please forgive me for messing up there on the first shot pronounciation of your name...a slip of tounge. I'm sorry.

AND...most unfortunately, as I learned after having up-loaded the song to my holding site, there was not enough space to put both songs at one time, so Alabama Blues had to go. That was my mistake, otherwise I would have left it a little longer, or would have opened an audio blog type thing.

These songs are originals, and I had thought that by using that very local holder, I might protect them a little--and here in the 'Community' forum, only members can see them. I'll consider letting that go for an audio blog. I have some more songs--originals--that I'd like to share over time.

If anyone has any ideas--or good guesses on just how safe an audio blog might actually be, please do let me know. See you and thanks for the kind words Kyoko_desu chan and J44xm san!!!

Kyoko_desu.... 😭
