Hello from Indiana, in the US

Hello, new to the forum. I have rudimentary knowledge of the Japanese language, but am have been working to better myself in it. I happened across the forums and they looked to be very informative. I hope that I will be a useful member of the community.

No, not an IU fan per se. I actually went to Purdue, but am not really a huge Purdue "fan" either. I do think IU's campus is very nice though. I think it was more aesthetically pleasing than Purdue's. I do however enjoy Bloomington on the whole, although I think some of their legislation is a little intrusive. Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

Wow, I go to Purdue, small world. I do agree IU's campus is really beautiful and I almost went there just because of that.

Small world indeed. It's just so hard to study Japanese unless you are a full time student, so I am trying to retain and expand what I know.
