Hy ppl. I just finished grade 1 kanji :-) and decided to work on my grammar a bit before taking grade 2 on. So what I would need and can't for the life of me find on the web is a list of words written using only grade 1 kanji like 学校(school), 人力車(rickshaw) or 火山(volcano).
So please if you know any(and I'm sure you know lots :-)) write them here, you'll help a lot. :-) Oh. and if you know of a webpage with this kind of a list, please post. Thanks in advance. :-)

btw. by grade 1 I mean: learn-japanese.info/kanjifirst.gif

Hey.

What do you mean by grade 1? Is that a grade referent to a particular school?
Or maybe it is JPLT (which I assume to be level 4)?

I assume he means the grade 1 kanji thaught in japanese schools.

Might wanna check this page out.

I'm not sure if the compounds behind the links are grade 1 kanji only though..

Yes, those are the ones I had in mind. I saw the page already(actually using it) but it only has about 3 or so words for every kanji and most of them contain higher grade kanji.

Words in Easy Kanji

OK, I'll think of some words in easy Kanji.

Can you read these?

入口
出口
自動車
自転車
電気
雷雨
大雪
小雨
人間
会社
社会
文字
火事
工場
運動
運動場

Is that enough? :)

My kanji is so bad lol... I'm still just learning how to write most of them, putting them together is difficult... like how 草が生えています。 How Sei turns into Ha etc. is so confusing! How many different readings for each words are there (usually)?

It actually depends on the kanji -- a lot of kanji have a lot of readings and SEI/IKIRU/HAERU/etc has quite a few. The best thing I can tell you is look at the rest of the sentence and you'll figure out the reading (if you've already learned that reading, that is). I'm constantly learning "new" readings for kanji that I thought I already learned.
