Hey Everyone.
It's been quite a while so I'll cut to the chase.
My name is Cameron, and I lived in Tokyo, Japan from 1997 - 2008, during which I was a major admirer of visual kei, having seen over 500 different indies bands in my 11 years, and been to more lives than I can remember.
Beginning in 2000, I ran one of the first VK websites called Glam Japan (on the now defunkt Yahoo webs), covering all types of VK bands, with reviews, live reports, and live photos. And in 2001, I put out a one-issue VK magazine called BLUSH. Not sure if anyone remembers it?
Anyway... been back (sadly) in Canada for nearly 4 years and have decided to start a Facebook page, appropriately titled, GLAM JAPAN, to share the plethora of stuff I collected during my VK years: CDs, photos (sets & live), flyers, promotional items, event tickets, etc.
All of the material (bands) covers a wide range of VK, but pre-dates 2009 (as I am now in Canada). So if you are interested in seeing some early VK stuff, please drop by my page, and LIKE me. I have only just begun but will be adding stuff daily... and there's a helluva a lot of stuff to weed through.
