Gackt

That's right, I felt that Gackt's songs are getting darker and somehow after his long rest after Yami no Shuen, he seems scarier. I can feel his sadness. He's one of those artists who went through so much......marriage, band breaking, friends dying......

I can't imagine fans going after their idol when their idol gets married. I can't belive that people can be so aggressive and free(as in having nothing to do) to go after their idol. Don't they have better things to do? Makes me feel so sad. I imagine Gackt loving his ex wife so much that he had to leave her. Oh I wanna cry......
 
One of my most constant daydreams is what Gackt would be like with a daughter. He is simply adoreable with children, and I think it's so sad that the reason he doesn't want one of his own is because he is afraid he would hurt him/her. Like when he said that he just didn't want anyone to have his genes, because then they would go through the same awful things that he did as a child.

The reason that I picture daughter is that even if he would be able to get to the point that he is even a little bit confident in raising a kid, even with his troubles from his own past, it seems that he would still maybe see too much of his own self in a son.

I know, I probably sound ridiculous. This is the only thing where I read a lot into the things that Gackt has said. I am just really curious how he would act with children, and I think it is a sweet idea.
 
I saw yesterday at youtube some clips of Gackt with children from Africa . He was so sweet with them when he teach them japanes words. I had the feeling that Gackt is more relax with kids than adults. I think he feel more secure arround them coz kids don't have these dark, bad and hidden entintion that most of the adults have. Coz kids are simply pure. God I return again to personality analisys. My sis hate me when I do this analysing everyone I see. But have alook at this clip and compear it to interveiws for him on other programms. you will see the different right in his face

at programms he had to think twice befor he answers but arround children he answers right away. you'll think I'm silly but after I saw this clip I had the feeling that Gackt is like a child who forced to grow up befor his time. So when he is arround kids he acts like a kid. Don't you agree with me? ☝

i think Gackt still hasn't gotten over his ex-wife... poor guy. He actually seems to be a pretty normal person behind all that fancy front he puts up. i would really like to just hang out with him and act silly :-) and he probably would make a great father.

y'know, this happened to Miyavi too. His gf got stabbed and she was so horrified that she left him and immediately married someone else.

and I watched moon child yesterday again and I just couldnt help but cry like a baby... I hate and love watching this movie lol
 
I think it's sweet that Gackt lives with his sister at times. I like it that he doesn't just completely ignore his entire family, even though he obviously hasn't always gotten along well with all of them.

Why do I have the impression that Gackt is only not on good terms with his parents especially his overtly oppressive father? I thought Gackt and his sister got along fairly well and to me, Gackt seems to be a person ready to protect the young and/or the weak, and he seems to long to have a family, please correct me if I'm wrong. That's the feeling I got from seeing Gackt interact with children and from some reports about his past.

And this is another one of my opinions. I think Gackt will make a good father. He shouldn't avoid having his family (but crazy fans SHOULD leave his family alone to encourage him to have one). Because of his past, he'll understand what a child needs. The freedom to try things out and not be imposed upon duties and ideals set out by a father. He'll be able to love his children and give them what they want. So it'll really be sweet to see Gackt having a family.
 
Well, unfortunately, Gackt has stated (very firmly) that he will a) never get married again, and b) never have children. *sniffle* It makes me very sad, but I suppose there's nothing we can do about it.

And also, think about some of the things that he has said. Even though he knows what it feels like to have your life dictated as a child, and he didn't enjoy it, even now he is still kind of a control freak (no offence to Gackt).

And then, even if he would be an excellent father, doesn't it seem like he wouldn't be able to see it? He, sadly, does not have a very high opinion of himself. And so I think that he would always be questioning his parenting abilities, and that would be a depressing situation.
 
its true he doesnt like himself very much. if he did like himself he wouldn't do that to his face, and try to make his voice deeper ( i think hes faking cuz his singing voice is much higher sounding than his speaking voice... and he speaks so slooowly... i do that when i'm crossdressing...) nwy gackt is deeply trapped in a circle of self loathing.

i feel bad for him.
 
Yeah, that I'll have to agree that he doesn't have a high opinion about himself. And somehow I feel that a part of him knows that he is up to it but another part of himself don't think so. He gives me the idea that he is fighting against himself, sort of like struggling with himself. Lots of his albums and songs tells the same story of self struggling and multiple personalities. I feel sad for him too. But still, I do hope to see him ending up happy, probably with a family (just my wishful thinking).

@molestthyguitarists: what do you mean "he wouldn't do that to his face"? The plastic surgery?
 
um yeah... people who like themselves generally don't get five or six nose jobs... don't get me wrong I think Gackt is very beautiful... but it's a little bit too much for me...

is it really gonna be in the show??? i need to find out which episode... i never watch but if i get to hear Gackt's lovely voice on the tv, i just might...
 
I am not so sure about the idea of Gackt faking his voice, because think about when he talks quickly to his friends. He still has a deep voice. And he has always had a low singing voice! Especially when he was younger in Malice Mizer.
 
Hmm... me too, I don't think he was faking. But let's just say that Gackt has a wide vocal range. The low voice belongs to him and so does the higher pitched. His voice range is real wide, from what I know.

Regarding the Ghost PV, I think it's not on the show. Is it a terminator film? Maybe Gackt was singing the theme song for version released in Japan? Or maybe he just uses terminator film cause the film inspired him to come up with the song?

Gackt likes terminator right? Correct me if I'm wrong. I remembered Yami no Shuen sounded like terminator's song too.
 
i dunno, but it makes me happy anyway that american mainstream are finally taking notice of gackt. he's much more talented than many of his american counterparts, and i think that a song being featured in a somewhat crappy but popular tv show is the least of the recognition that he deserves. seriously, they should have him on mtv.
 
I just loved the performance he did on musicstation on january 23rd even tho he was doing playback and not singing live but he finally learned to dance...and he looked so good, relaxed and happy :D
 
really?? that's good... im glad he's happy... gackt smiling is just love... always makes me smile too.
my friends still do "gackt-dancing" which is basically them mocking his vanilla performances... (minus the face humping action)... at least they don't call him my "little long-lost sister" anymore, and actually listen to some of his music... XD that is the biggest victory of all for Gackt :-)

I found another vanilla dance the other day, dear that made me almost pee my pants... i dunno what he was thinking but appearently...nothing. his dancing is so cute and funny there...lol

but i have to admit, i really like the song ghost.

Yes! I love his hair in that video! Black Stone is my favorite PV just because I love his clothes and hair! I have watched my Diabolos Live dvd so many times just ooh-ing at how pretty he is. ^_^ I don't understand how braids and curls can look so great, but on Gackt they do.

Poor Gackt baby, I understand him actually, but that is just life too ... eventually things happen ... tragedies, deaths, dreams fail ...

... as I use to say, "Life's a b*tch and then you die" ... right ?¿ *sigh*

The important thing is to keep on believing that there is some purpose to all of it, since hope is all you really need 👍
