It's a SHORT to me that can sing up high as other girl vocal...
so now i "work" as a drummer in school group, not a vocal
(we're in girl's senior high, lots of partners' voice are fantasier & resounding than me =p)
 
Hello everybody! I'm a big fan of Gackt too! Just went over to Japan to get Gackt's new single Jesus as I realized that Singapore didn't have it imported. Oh my! It's been such a long wait from last year's Yami no Shuen till now. I love Gackt's new single portrayal! What do you all think? About his latest single?
 
Yes! Ghost is coming out in late Jan right? Can't wait for it to be released. Gackt's activities seems to be a little accelerated this time ^^
Is there any preview or demo tapes available for a peek into Ghost?

Omg!!! Gackt!!!

I love Gackt! 👍 He has an amazing voice. It's so obvious a man is singing yet it's so beautiful. Is he going to have a concert anytime soon? I want to go to a Gackt concert but have no money! :( Fine! I will scrounge! I'll go to one. But when's his next one, seriously? ☝
 
@Gackt21: Umm... I'm not so sure bout it myself too. You see sometimes, singers release part of their song for preview and sometimes, they release raw versions like demo tapes, though the sounding isn't that good, as in there are static and a little background noise, but with the demo tapes, you'll more or less get a feel of how their new song will be like. That is if we are lucky, we will be able to hear them. But then again, I don't think Gackt would release his demo tape anyway *sob sob*
Anyway, Ghost's preview is out! BOMBARSTING!!!! I love the new song!

@Hitagashi Kai: Hmm... there isn't any news bout Gackt's concert upcoming. Not that I know......maybe you've got to wait a while.

Hi Hitagashi Kai, it's me again ^^ Was just wondering, would you be interested in Gackt's concert in Japan? He's having requiem et reminiscence II from last 14th till April 11th. If you are interested, please visit the official website, they have the list of dates and venue for the concerts:-) But the concerts are a half an hour business so.... just thought you might be interested to know?

Ah! Finally! I saw part of the PV at the official website, damn cool! I loved the synthesized parts, just like Doomsday.
 
well... I like Jesus more but this one not that bad :D I liked when he was moving like a robot :D cool! :D
 
Hm, so he is also using this voice distortion thingy, I'm not sure I like it, it doesn't suit MYV for example, but Alice Nine also use it a little on some parts of their new album, at least in the song "Hyakkaryouran".

I'm not sure I think it fitted Gackt either, but as long as it's just a little little bit of the song that uses it, it's excusable ☝

I liked this version otherwise 👍
 
Actually, Crystallize, this is not the first time Gackt's using synthesizer. He's used it before but I think it was of a mild use back then. But I agree, excusable if he's just using it a bit. I mean he's got amazing voice, why sythesize it? And I have to agree with Devious, I love it so much when Gackt's doing the robotic move. Just a bit more and he'll look like a perfect popper.
 
i dunno, i think gack-kun totally ODd on the distorter thingy within noesis and lust for blood... the part where he didn't use distorter was great and the instrumentals were awesome, but it would have been better if he didn't...
 
I honestly think that Gackt sounds great no matter what. I only wish that he wouldn't use synthesizer because it distracts from his own voice. But the sound of the songs that use the voice synthesizer is still good, and it feels like a part of Gackt's style since he has done it multiple times.

I liked Jesus a lot because I love the english part of it. Everytime that Gackt speaks english I can't help but swoon. 😍
 
joining Gackt's fan club isn't any easier than trying to join hide's... everything is also
( only ) written in japanese and it does seem to cost money, too. it's really a pity, and i don't understand the people that are responsible for designing those sites...they must know that hide for example still has sooooo many fans from all around the world and most of them don't speak japanese. most people do learn english in school though, so i think, those fan sites should be in english and japanese.
and i don't undestand why some people seem so hostile, just because some of us don't speak japanese. like me. i am willing to learn, but i have not found anyone who is japanese and can teach me the language. i even tried to go to restaurants to have certain things translated, but most japanese restaurants where i live are managed and staffed by koreans :-)
it's not that some of us don't try hard enough, some of us, just don't have the chance, posibility, etc.
i even checked out a good computer language program like rosetta stone, but do you know how much that costs ? not everyone can afford that ! and the cheaper language programs you can forget, because i am actually german and i looked at a lot of programs that are supposed to teach americans the german language and they are all horrible. they translate and teach you complete nonsense..... so save your money !
 
LOL! Shouldn't it be Hyde? I shouldn't think that it is Hide even though there still are fan sites but there shouldn't be updates huh....

Actually a lot of people make this mistake. The X-Japan's Hide is actually Hideto in short. Many non-japanese think that Hide is pronounced as "hide" in English but actually the pronunciation should be something like "heeday" (I seriously don't know how to make it simpler). As for the L'Arc-en-Ciel's Hyde, this is an English word. Same sounding as "hide" in English. So Avalanche, do you mean Hyde or Hide?
 
I'm sure Avalanche meant what they said. Hide from X Japan. Why should he not have a fanclub just because there won't be updates? I don't see why it would close. The fans still love him.
 
I cant believe it's ten years ago since I saw the first pic of gackt, man I'm getting old. But I still love his music <3
 
Ooh, I'm jealous. It frustrates me that I can't help but feel inferior to the people that have been fans of Gackt for so long.
