if you all are so keen to know about Gackt - sama , just search on net... also there are a lot of fan pages where you can find all kind of info and somebody asked about his real name so... um nobody knows... he won't tell

I read somewhere that his real name is Okebe Satome... :?
But you never know with Gackt ;-)

um Sugar-San where from did you get such an info? yeah I heard that he calls himself Camui Gactk but he also says that he was born in ~1500 or something like that so you'd believe that too so that Camui is morer like a nick name or something like that and i found some info about him on imdb page but can't paste the link... damn... and so there's written that his real name is Satoru Okabe though you can't be sure with Gackt...

So, I thought that his realname would be Camui Gackt. All my friends are saying that too. xD

Cumai Gackt isn,t his real name its his old stage name from Malice Mizer he has also been called Sawasdee Gackt

Okabe is just a rumered name so is his birthdate there is nothing offical

Also, keep in mind that "gackt" isn't even a Japanese name. I mean, I know Japanese people tend to pronounce it as "gakuto," but that would far from likely be his birth name.

Camui is probably just a slight variation on "kamui."

I'm also not sure that his name is Satoru Okabe only i've read it in imdb.com Sugrar-san just type in search bar gackt and you'll find the info but I'm sure that is name isn't Camui because you can read in a lot of places that it's only the way he calls himself and the birthdate isn't certain too... damn he's mysterious

I was reading a book with japanese names. Gakuto was there, with kanji and all.

I heard about that Satoru Okabe rumour, but wouldn't assure it, same with the birthdate. -Adn the Camui had a meaning, but i can't remember it.

thats what i've seen in most of the wedsites that are mostly right, they all have the same year of his birth and in his concert "THE SIXTH DAY & SEVENTH NIGHT" concert it says he was born 1973 so you and i might not be wrong about his birth year

No matter what age, Gackt will always be hot. I don't even care that he's twice my age...pssh. lol He's sexy and mysterious, which makes him sexier and to me just his raw talent and indescribable singing voice and amazing piano skills is enough to make me go mad for him. xD

I've always know that he wasn't exaclty young, but I don't like guessing at his age cuz I mean, he doesn't really look that old and he still looks beyond attractive. I really do which I knew how old he is at least. =/ The name thing doesn't bother me too much, though I am curious. I have heard him being called Camui (I thought it sounded pretty, so I used it for my username.) and Saswadee (I don't even think I spelled that correctly >.<.), but I've always pretty much known or assumed that Camui Gackt isn't his real name. I hadn't heard that rumor about his name and though I am curious to know about his name and age, I'd rather not, since I like Gackt as a mystery. It definitely adds to his appeal in my opinion.
