NO.. nonononononono... I HAVE ALWAYS SAID, but it DOESN'T MEAN it's true. It doesn't fit into my head he's younger than Hyde cos he doesn't look like. Of course that doesnt mean he couldn't be. For me, he can't be as young as many fans says he is, but he could be for a year or two younger than Hyde. See my point?? and don't get upset!!!

He always acts like a ''leader'' when he's with Hyde. And when i look at the picture of them together, Gackt gives me the impression of being a few years older than Hyde. And i actually believe he is. But that's only me. I have no evidence lol.

I really don't think it's possible to determine age from how "old" they look. There's tons of factors--Photoshop, lighting, makeup, even plastic surgery (though I don't believe Gackt did it). And just because Gackt is the leader doesn't mean he's older; it seems to be mostly personality differences. But yeah, no evidence, though a Gackt in his early 40's would be pretty weird considering there are 14 year olds who lust after him.

Age is not a factor to consider for that specific subject. You know what REALLY makes think he's around 38 or older? His voice. Just like when you're in puberty and suffer from a change in your voice, it happens again when your body begins to decline. If you listen carefully (and taking aside how much they smoke) you can see the difference in Hyde's voice which is now rougher.. there are many singers who suffer from this, which is natural, but it won't happen on early 30's.
When you have followed a singer's career, you can tell the difference in his voice. Gackt's nasal voice this days is not an experiment, I can tell you that.

I also think he's had surgery. Not as dramatic as some like to paint it, but some, you know, to help the eye area and things... ARGH!!! is so hard for me to explain in english!!!!!

I thought hyde was about 38/39 and gackt is about 35/36, he's about the same age as You(i'd have to check you-robots to see)

Hydes still cuter though and ChaCha's hotter than them both (even though poor ChaCha is like 46). I don't find Gackt attractive at all, not even in Malice Mizer, and probably has had a bit of surgery,

And that's my opinion.

Well, Yoshiki thinks of Gakki as a younger brother, so Gackt has to be younger than Yo. Surgery... if he's had eyelid fat suctioning or anything I wouldn't be too surprised. I don't think minor improvements like that make him plastic or are even plastic surgery at all though. Voice... I thought he had tonsilitis? Like Kyo, except Gackt got his tonsils removed. And I think any changes due to smoking would make his voice rougher, not higher.

Oh well, it doesn't really matter at all, does it?

I looked on IMDB and found that Hyde (Hideto Takarai) was born on 29th January 1969. Gackt (Satoru Okabe) was born on 4th July 1971. I got it from the info on Moon Child.
What gets me is that Hyde is only listed as 5'2"
That's smaller than me. Gackt is a more impressive 5' 11"
