Seriously, whats so hot about him? Yeah, he got liposuctions, plastic surgeries, wears mass makeup, yeah his photo shoots are fully photoshopped and has big lighting to them. Ok Clay's Voice sucks, Klaha is not all that sexy as he appears, I love the guy, but he's got nothing on Gackt. Testu is yet another ugly person you've mentioned. So what if Gackt had surgeries, so what? He looks pretty good for how old he is, acts younger. Camui-San has an extremely good voice, the very first I heard which drew me to Malice Mizer years ago, Klaha's voice was just terrible in Malice Mizer, he is better solo. I'm not saying that you have a brain deffect, I just think you're a little pissed off that Gackt has so much attention and Klaha, and testu are left in the cold. And for the record, Clay who? it's amazing anyone remembers that one hit wonder.

Um, actually it seems to me that Klaha fit better in MM than Gackt did. He always seemed out of place with his hideous hair and emo-ness. Klaha was a better fit all around. That and he was motivated to better the band by stcking with the over all vision rather than bettering it by changing it into something that it was not.

Gackts just a tooth pick weenie who sold out faster than a down town ho. I really can't stand the guy. And I've tried some of the Kirin Fire nonsense.

It's nasty.

I occasionally see pictures of Gackt that I consider "attractive" and I occasionally see pictures of him that are "meh".

I guess what it all boils down to is that I'd rather look at someone else. Preferably Akiya of the band Kagrra. He's definitely no sheik. Actually I find him to be a bit plain faced, But that's the thing I like about him.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you. I mean obviously the man has to have some sort of appeal or he wouldn't have gotten as far as he has. But it's just after awhile you start noticing little things, which quickly turn into big things. Personally I think what's most unatractive about him is what he does.

i think it is hard to judge peoples looks from pictures since everyone can have a "bad hair day" but when it comes to gackt, i personaly think he's gorgeous but hey, thats only my opinion. but i think he should have some more credit for his age and stuff, i mean he's not young anymore but he's still really good looking.
and the fact that his music have possesed my pc since i first heard him is a bonus too

Wait. I'm a litle confused about who said this but, let's retake the age topic a little while.
You tell me he was born in 1973 according to a video. Okay, that will make him 33 this year. BUT, have you read his book? I don't clearly remember, but he mentions a stage of his life, a sittuation close to death from what he says: I was truly reborned then. So, if you count life from there, I'm still a child... That would add him some years, right? And that would make him over 40, right? Okay, let's not take that one. IF I take his very first drowning, I'd add him just 7 years...and that would make him 40.
Seriously, his voice doen't match his face anymore... He's sounding older than 33 and it's far from being "tired".

No. I don't agree. One of the reasons why I love Hyde is that in some recent photos you can tell that he's getting old. I feel that being able to age gracefully is a beautiful thing rather than trying to look 20 when you're 40. I don't want the singers to look like a grandpas mind you, but a few wrinkles makes them feel 'real'.

At this point in the thread I'd like to give major props to yoshiki. Hes getting on in years but he dosent try to hide it, and he dosent go around trying to sell and push albums like a 20 year old either. Here we have a man who knows hes had quite a lot of time staked in his buisness and hes using it to his advantage to continue to rogress through change in a natural way.

I think gackt would be better off if he put down the bottle of bleach, put a nice looking shirt on and tried something different.
