Ah right. Thats a bit scarey then lol. My das car came over from japan with a bong and cannabis related stuff under the seats. Its also black with blacked out windows.

Seriously though, I was told that its normal over there. Oh well, thats one less thing to worry about, I wont seem weird if I dont do drugs.

HERE WE GO WITH THE "GOOD OL DAYS" AGAIN.
Back in the early 70's sniffing glue was the big thing.
We had a back hallway in the bar that led to a fire exit door; every other night we had kids hiding there sniffing glue. In 2 years, I saw one joint smoked, and the guy went to jail for 1 year hard time. Someone else squealed on him, there was no evidence so he only got a year. Even at rock concerts out in the country, no drugs!

Cannibus is relatively difficult to get, the quality is lower, and the price is generally higher. The penalties for getting caught with it are also a lot stricter, or so I've heard. A buddy of mine is a Japanese rasta/reggae DJ and even his stuff wasn't very good...makes you miss the good ole US of A.
As far as other drugs go, shrooms were made illegal sometime last year, but you can still buy variations of acid on the street. I love the way the Japanese get away with it too....but putting a small notice that it's "not for human consumption," the vendor is removed from all responsibility. Find a busy intersection in Tokyo and you'll see a drug table set up.
