Done Christmas Shopping Yet?

With only five shopping days left until Christmas, how many of you have already finished gift buying, more importantly, how many of you procrastinated like crazy and haven't even started yet?

I'm proud to say that I braved the crowds packing the mall like sardines on Saturday and completed my shopping. Man! What a mob scene that was! And that was with a whole week to go! I'd hate to be in ANY mall at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve! Talk about chaos to the nth degree!! I get the jitters just thinking about that!!

So, c'mon all ye procrastinators! Bare your souls before you rush off to the stores!

I Have Always Gone.....

shopping for my wife Xmas eve. It usually is a quiet time with just other husbands who are procrastinators like me there. We have a wrapping center in the mall to do the wrapping for me which is great also. I think the last minute pressure of going down to the wire helps me pick better gifts.

I tried shopping on Christmas Eve once, and only once. I went absolutely crazy because I couldn't find what I wanted at the last minute. Nosiree! I'll never do that again!

I shopped for my present last week but I ended running out of money..I got managas for some of my friends and baked chocolate chip muffins for the guys I like..I ordered a vanilla flan for my parents, but I never got it..now I don't have a present for them and I don't know what to do..any suggestions??..they've been really good to me..as presents they got me a really nice cell phone and spent around $200 on my winter clothes..so now I feel really bad..what should I do??

I've left it to Christmas Eve. Not only that, but I'm going to have to leave straight from my night shift. I have done this for several reasons. A) I lost my enthusiasm for Christmas several years ago. B) I'm lazy. C) I've been ridiculously busy. D) Bah Humbug.

Well, I wouldn't mind being in the malls here at 6pm Christmas Eve, because that's the only day of the year the mall managers will let stores kick customers out right at closing--it's practically a graveyard! Just an hour earlier, however, is another story.

Unless I can find something by some miracle tomorrow morning, I'm done for this year. Brian and I got impatient so we opened our things to each other early (like, Monday night early) so I've been enjoying my stuff most of the week. I do need to try and find him something else tomorrow, though, if possible, and we need to pick up a gift card for Outback for a family friend.

I told the wife this year that I would absolutly not do any shopping after Thanksgiving because Americans just get way out of hand and lose all sense of manners...but alas we went shopping today and finished up, and I swear that if I could have gotten away with it I would have choked at least 10 people to death! Merry Christmas right?

Yeah, we Americans are an ill-mannered lot, especially on Christmas Eve!

But then, that presupposes we have manners on the other 364 days of the year, and that's kinda debatable!

King Of Procrasternators !

It's 8A.M. Xmas morning and I'm just getting ready to wrap my gifts I bought yesterday. We don't open gifts till 11A.M. so I still have tons ot time!

Bought the first present already beginning of December, most others mid December and the last finally on Monday.
Then I got the "presents for myself" (to fix my computer) on Wednesday and Friday
