Do you really like J-pops?

i have nothing agst Jpop..juz think tad certain pple in the Jpop industry are so damn act cute but everyone has their act cute moments.. hmm..i prefer Jrock..sugoi ne~

I like a lot of japanese rock bands, like B'z, Siam Shade, Luna Sea, Dir en Grey. (or Mr. Children, to get away from the loud distorted guitars)
Although they as well are part of popular culture, and therefore J-Pop.
But ok, what I like about many actual japanese bands is the fact that they have a style of their own. (and I like that style)

To be honest I do kind of like Jpop! I mean not all the time, only when I'm in certain moods. Haha but then it can be a blast to listen to!

I think Japanese Pop brought something new to the music market. They mix a lots of type of music. I think it's very different from other countries.
I know that almost everybody is against their own national pop music. I hate it too
But J-pop is really special for me.

Take a song in which the bass line is good and the rythmic section does the job.
(Don't hesitate to put a chorus in the back )
Add some un-understandable lyrics with strong childhood's emphasis/feelings/memories.
Sprinkle the whole with entouthiasm and/or some epicness attitude and you'll get what I like in japanese funk/pop(?).
I mean, even some of the Japanese Christmass song sound amazing (for me though)
