Hello to everyone!

I am new to this forum, and I would really appreciate your help in the subject of Japanese date format. Basically, I would like to know, how to accurately write a date in Japanese format. On of the dates I would like to have in Kanji is for example November, 11th 2006.
I know, that the years are written according to the current emperor in Japanese. So the year 2006 is the 18th year of the Heisei era. However I have no idea, how to write days and months.

I would really appreciate your help. Obviously I don't know much about the japanese language, but as things look currently, I will have to start learning at least the basics. Hopefully you can help me with this very beginning :)

Thanks in advance

Robert
