conv in japan

heyo~
im trying to decide wich anime convention in japan i should go to.
im thinking of AX in tokyo next year but ive heard that it isnt that great.
im looking for a convention that has lots of music stuff and some bands playing.
please help im gonna spend so much on this trip to this conv and the hide museaum

Anime convention that has lots of music stuff and bands playing? Not gonna happen. Anime cons in Japan are even more anime-focused than the ones here. It's all anime, all the time. :|

You'd be better off spending your time at a live or two of your favorite band (provided it isn't X Japan, of course >_>) =)
