Having lived in Japan and then moved back to the States, it has been kind of easy to notice all the little things that changed in my life from before to after:
- I miss konbini; how did I ever live without them before, and how will I live without them now? Really, there is such a huge world of difference between U.S. convenience stores and Japanese konbini. From product to layout, from staff to branding, they really are two different creatures. I guess this is not a change in lifestyle, unless longing counts.
- As for other changes, I do much prefer using the A and B size formatted stationary and paper supplies. <sighs> Harder to find for me back in the U.S., and so I cherish all my folders and packs of paper, and use the paper and other bunbohgu supplies sparingly.
