Can you dance

We had a member join recently asking about Ceroc.(thanks Anthea) I thought why not ask who can dance anything. Surely there are members out there that can be good movers when they feel like it. So do you dance and what type do you do? For those who can't, what would you like to do?
As for me I do tap dancing (any jokes about sinks and that person will be shot at dawn), ballroom and latin.

I never dance sober. I'll do what my friends call the swim dance after I've had a few. They tell me it's quite unique. But really, I have got no true sense of body and rythm sync.

I love dancing. I probably look totally stupid, but I don't give a damn. I will even dance when I'm sober! Hmmm - I have had a few people asking me if I'm a professional dancer sometimes (lol, they didn't mean it in the sleazy way! ), which is quite flattering, but... I'm not. The nearest I ever got was 3 belly-dancing lessons (great fun, but I fell sick and had to quit the course ).

I'd really like to be able to do some kind of 'real' dancing, but unfortunately not.

I can't dance. Whether it's because I feel stupid doing it, or if it's because I really really DO suck at it - I have no clue. But I can't dance. Whenever I do, I end up standing there, feeling like a complete idiot, staring at some other expert who's moving faster than the speed of light. Because of this, I don't like dancing.

But I love jumping. If I'm on a live gig, and the music's good. Well... I tell you, you've never seen any person before, ever, jump like I do. And I go for hours.

I feel the same way. I don't know how to dance, and I don't go out specifically to dance, but if there is music playing I can't stop myself.

You don't need talent to dance. My husband is such a bad dancer that people clear the dance floor and point and laugh at him, but he enjoys it so he does it anyway!

Dance, well I don't really know a dance, like ballroom, chachacha. But who cares, when I hear great music, I move on the Rhythm and feel GREAT!!!

*In the clubs I had some people that were putting there thumbs up to me, but if that was because I was great, or terrible bad, no idea.... or was it because I did dirty dancing :?

I can't dance. I know lots of people who can but I'm not one of them. I prefer to watch. Haven't been drunk enough to get me out on the floor. I have managed to slow dance ocassionally without stepping on toes (she told me she'd kick me if I did).

I can do a quick two-step and a bossanova, a little Victor Sylvester and a Rudy Valentino. I can really hit the floor.

I have mastered a few dance "styles", most of which require good self esteem and the ability to block out people staring and laughing! Fortunately, I have a group of friends who also share this dispostition and we dance in a pack that forces many others(much to their dismay) to allow us our God-given right to dance!

I'm a Trained Dancer, does that count? I studied Ballet for 5 years during the last two of which I also studied Modern Dance.
I still Dance all the time even though I do not Study anymore. I use many styles I guess. I like to mix and match 'til I get something that suits the song I'm Dancing to.
