Building a kit home in Japan

Since real estate costs on a national basis are beyond the numbers diferring from the United States, it might vary between prefectures, and in an urban area like Tokyo it may be chalenging, so some decided to build their own homes to save considerate amounts of yen.
Since i'm planning to move to Japan, starting my first 5 years in the rural area, another 5 in the suburbs, and culminating in Tokyo, i need to figure out any information about building a kit home in Japan, and it's available interprefectural building codes(Wise 'n' excellent enough to save billions of yen in purchasing a new home)

I meant to ask, under what kind of visa do you intend to move there. Would you care to elaborate on your racing dreams; do you mean professionally? Why change your citizenship?

I like the idea of the kit homes, particularly taking advantage of things like solar and natural insulation and ventilation. Sure beats track-homes.

Citizenship takes a few years of living here before you can apply. Do you realize that?

TO QUALIFY FOR JAPANESE CITIZENSHIP, YOU MUST:

a) have lived continuously (hiki tsuzuki) at Japanese addresses for five years

b) be over twenty years of age "in terms of mental and legal capacity" (20 sai ijou de honkokuhou ni yotte nouryoku o yuusuru koto)

c) behave well (sokou ga zenryou de aru koto)--and they do check--my dictionary even has the word "sokou chousa" (personal conduct survey) in it

d) demonstrate the means to support your family

e) be willing to relinquish the citizenship of your native country once Japanese citizenship is granted

f) respect the Japanese Constitution (i.e. don't plot against or advocate destroying it, or associate or join a group or political party which does)

There are simple reasons why Japan is my salvation over the United States:

1. Puerto Rico is such a eeeeeeeh!!!!! disaster in terms of everything
2. I will acquire a regular visa for the next 40 renewals of 3 months each
3. Motorsport(Automobile racing from the '90s) is my only and favourite hobby
4. As soon i get there, i will criticise badly the Puerto Rican government, until it makes it to Chinese hands
5. After i acquire citizenship, i will no longer turn back to American/Puerto Rican hands
