How long does mail from the U.S. take to arrive in Japan

So far we get about a week from US to Japan. The other way takes longer.
And yes if the time is important like Petaris says there are express servicies available from various services.
We are about to send a birthday card so I'll see again soon actually.

One other thing you say "to Japan" be aware mail to Tokyo and mail to somewhere inaka are different.

Oh I was just writing a fan letter to someone (and attached a drawing I made) lmao, I don’t mind the wait. I’m just hoping. I did also get in touch with the local Japanese high school teacher who helped me address it properly (its going to Shibuya Ku, Tokyo). I’m just hoping it gets there safely haha.

As long as you make those requirements no problem.

My son draws pictures and sends photos to family and friends back in Japan no problem.
