It's easy to get confused. Espcially with the termenology. Yaoi does oringally mean no plot, no climax..... But then suddenly the term started being used for doujinshi with boy/boy sex scenes. Like I said before, Westeners use the yaoi to indicate boy/boy relationships linked with anime, manga, slash, and all that good stuff. Yeah, it gets confusing after awhile.

That store made be blush. Seriously. I mean... all those.. pictures... and.. magazines... and... boy love. All of it in japanese though *sour* but, still, as already said, who needs to undestand the "uuuhs" and the "aaahhs" and the "don't... don't... we can't..." - when there are PICTURES! MOAHAHAHA!

No seriously.. I really would wanna be able to read japanese *knows Hiragana and Katakana but no Kanji, which makes it impossible* but maybe sometime in the future, when I learn more, I will..

Anyways, the store was awesome, they had all sort of yaoi and shonen ai; from the most innocent (with boys that looked like they were 5 years old) to really hard core S/M and all sorts of stuff. I, off course, got stuck by the romantic/angsty/rose-petal stuff with reaaaaally nice drawings and shonen ai-ish sort of like... oh, I was in heaven. All other costumers were women (nope, no gay guys or anything) but the shop clerk was a guy, which sort of made me uncomfortable when I was gonna pay; see I bought some really hard core stuff (just in case I ever get into that sort of thing in the future) and more for the heck of it, but the shop-clerk-dude kept on hella checking out what I had chosen and sort of had this smug smile on his face... either he was thinking "man.. she's such a pervert!" OR he was thinking "oh.. this old book.. hehe, yeah, I remember this pairing; nice, nice, I had a good time with this book.." *is hoping the latter, or wait, the first... or... *

Anyways, two of the books I bought are called "Peach Color" and "Flowery virgin soil" and.. err.. the latter is.. the most hard core *doesn't even dare to look in it* besides, nevermind my crappy translation of the titles; err.. they're sort of direct translations... *hits herself* Maybe I can scan pics later... *starts planning what pics to scan*

It sucks living in the midwest. There isn't a place where I can get any more yaoi that isn't FAKE, Gravitaion, Eerie Qeerie, or something like that. Not that those mangas are bad. But if I wanted some hard core-sex on every page kind of yaoi. I can't get that here. I've searched all the anime/manga stores. I'm so frustrated and sad.

you can't even get Yaoi (like hard cor Yaoi) in America.... (i don't think, unless you go to a spacific one that' well... Japanese i guess)
they don't print it outside of Japan... and none of it's translated...
you get the odd bit in like, German or France, but they're written by Germans of French.....

it all has to be ordered off the net dear.... which is frustrating when you don't have a debuit card and therefore have to get everything through your dad....

Church choir? Yeah.. might be sort of difficult buying YAOI then.. haha... I bet that's not exactly what your choir-leader has in mind for you; But, if your teacher is a she, you might try and get HER into boyxboy.. that would be the best thing ever! XDDDDD

Yeah... I wish there were shops like that in Sweden.. but there's no way that could ever happen... unless I have start one! *is planning on doing so cause her grades suck too much to do anything else with anyways*

Didn't mean to confuse you darling. But what I mean is, you can get hard core yaoi here in the states, but most of it on the west coast like California. I can't get hard core yaoi here in the midwest. That's how it is living in a Republican state. A good example of hard core yaoi would be Haru wo Daitieta. You don't even get to the plot until about the third or fourth volume. And it's a lame plot at that! I shouldn't have said Gravitation and Eerie Qeerie. Sorry about that. :sorry: Yeah, having a debit card is useful, but only when you have money in your bank account. Which is my situation.

Hey, at least we're not poor. As I always say, being broke is only temporary, being poor is forever.

Anyway, I can't read yaoi around my mom, she's religious and all (which is why I am glad I'm not living with her) Some of her church friends think Pokemon is a show full of demons. ☝ (Yes, off topic I know) :sorry: But whenever I was living at home I had to hide my yaoi. If she were to see it I probably would've had to explain it to her.
