No one is ever on chat anymore. WHY!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!

Believe it or not, I was able to get on CHAT from my son's PC this morning. The main PC went down back in early Feb., and I've been using this one when at home, to post. I tried to get into chat a couple of times and just didn't make it. today, somehow, it worked. I met Frank, Ma chan, jake, Haru chan, and clawn...and maybe I missed one or two.
I have enjoyed listening and talking with you in the past Roses, and hope to do so again in the future. Please be patient, because I've gotta buy myself my own PC and set it up in the dozo first, then I can go at it.
Although I fully understand the above posts, personally, I am usually able to chat with almost anyone. When some of the younger folks get on, and want to ramble about things I can't follow, I'll listen, and then add in only when I can--although I don't always have that much time to spend on it.
I understand your concern, Roses, and ask that you be patient, and keep checking in to see what's going on there yourself. See you there some fine day!! MM

We need a robot or something that is in chat all the time so I can talk to it. It should be named Bob. -+ Ponders wether or not she should make a Bob petition +-

Chat keeps me coming back to JREF !!
Although not perfect, this latest chat is nice. Over the past few years, I've made some great close friends in the chat room. You can really get to know a person after chatting with them a while. The new chat has the ability to use Japanese characters for people to practice with. You can have private chat boxes with a pass word if you wish. Each person can have a different colored type for easier following of conversations.On a good night in chat, we average 8 to 12 people. Perhaps down the road, we might add voice & webcam ability to the chat room, the feature is available if activated. Chat is usually active from about 4PM Eastern time till about 10 PM eastern time.
If you haven't tried the chat feature, watch for when it's active and stop by to say hello, you just might become a regular; it can be fun!

Rose, remember the asocial idiot who came into chat yesterday? People like that are the reason some of us don't like to hang out in chat. If you will recall, that person drove the two adults out of chat within minutes.
