For over 15 years I have had a mouse living in my garage. I leave an old rug rolled up in the corner and he/she(or relatives of) lives inside it. I feed it some bird seed in the winter to help it out a bit.
Now to the interesting part. A few months ago I bought a new cat litter box and threw the old one in the garage with the litter still in it. I noticed some mouse turds in it and thought the mouse might have fallen in it and got trapped. I searched through it(no mouse) and in the process , covered up the old mouse poo. A few days latter, it was loaded with mouse doo-doo again. So now I know the mouse climbs in there each day to do his duty. Strikes me as funny a mouse is using a cat's litter box.
