Hello all,
As the title states, I've been studying Japanese for 8 months now, 2 of which I've been living in Japan. I recently made a video of me speaking that I'm sure is full of mistakes, if anyone would be kind enough to offer some correction or criticism, etc. it'd be much appreciated! お願いします!

I'm not a native speaker, so I can't comment too much on your Japanese (although I noticed some Kansai ben here and there). However, in terms of the video, I thought the footage was great, the quality was great, the editing was great and the choice of music was great. Definitely enjoyed it. Will be looking forward to more! I'll definitely use your vid as a benchmark for my own when I start making them :-)

I am nowhere near fluent in Japanese your video shows me where I can hopefully be in a year of studying. The video was beautiful and made me wish I was there.

This might come off the wrong way, but if that was all truly out of your own head on-the-fly speech, not prepared in conjunction with or corrected by anyone, then you are either the most dedicated or the most talented Japanese learner I have ever come across. Your intonation and (lack of) accent are simply outstanding, and since that is something nobody can possibly do for you, I must say my conclusion is that your hard work and/or gift for picking up a language are to be admired.
