2006 Olympic Games: What was your favorite event?

Bobsleigh, skeleton, luge, and speed skating. ^_^

Other than those, curling and ski jumping were pretty interesting.

I'm not a real Olympics fan. I did like the hockey though. I was disappointed that the US and Canada lost so early.

That Bode Miller guy made me laugh, so I was sad to see him underperform like he did in the skiing events.

I always like the troublemakers for some reason.

I can't believe you chose Curling Clawn! Everytime I turned on the tv that was all that I saw and I can't believe that it was even in the games! It's a cross between bowling, billiards, and shuffleboard and seems like something old people should be doing when they are retired...not something to be in the Olympic games (IMO). Is this a big time game in Europe or somewhere?

To answer the question, I love the downhill, slalom, and speed skating. I watch figure skating only to see the pretty women in skimpy costumes!

CC1, I simply liked watching foreigners shout loudly to men sweeping their brooms in front of a slowly moving stone while sliding on a stretch of ice. Also, in response to your old people statement, I doubt many of them could bend their knees that much or stay upright while sliding on the ice!

They're giving orders on how they should sweep so as to move the rock left or right, to speed it up or let it slow down.
