1. The writer is a schoolboy from Izena. He has mentioned that they learn about Ryukyuan history at school. Then:

テレビドラマでも時々やってる。着物も髪型も日本とは 違っていて、僕らは沖縄人なんだっていう気がすごくす るよ。

My translation: "Sometimes there are TV dramas too. The clothes and hairstyles are different from those in Japan, so we really feel that we are Okinawans."

Does he mean that Okinawan viewers get a sense of their cultural heritage when watching these dramas?


2. 来週からテスト！

Does this mean that there is a series of tests starting next week?


3. 数学が苦手だから、１０番までに入った事なんか一度も ない。まあ、いっか。

My translation: "I'm lousy at maths, and I've never once got into the top ten (in the class). ... ??? ..."

a) Is that right? I am not very sure about １０番までに入った.

b) What is いっか?


4. This follows some instructions explaining how to play a game:

お楽しみに！

Could this just mean "Have fun!"? But what is the function of に? I am getting mixed up in my mind with the expression 楽しみにする, which I believe means "look foward to", but the meaning "look foward to" does not seem to fit well here.
