どちらか

Hey guys, trying to work out the following sentence:

どちらか好きな方を取って下さい。
I assume this means something like "please take whichever one you like".

Is the か here the question marker か or something else? And could you just as easily say どれか好きな方を取って下さい?

How about this:
どこか好きな所へ行ける as "you can go wherever you like"

Hmm...

The first one I thought meant "whoever likes (it) please take one."

The second looks more like it would mean "you can go somwhere you like."

I don't know, though. I'm probably too tired to be answering questions right now (but I'll do it anyway).

How about this:
どこか好きな所へ行ける as "you can go wherever you like"
Hmm...

どちらか好きな方を取ってください。
"Please take whichever (out of two) you like."

When you say どちらか, it means there are only two options while どれか there could be more than two.
方 also implies that there are only two options.
When there are more than two, you could say
どれか好きなのを取ってください。
どれでも好きなのを取ってください。

どこか好きなところへ行ける。
You can go somewhere you like.
どこでも好きなところへ行ける。
You can go anywhere (wherever it is) you like.
