Hi,
1. シェーマス・フィネガンはこらえきれずにプッと噴き出した。
Is こらえきれず = 堪え + 切れず (neg. potential of 切る)?
2. 「連中は厄介で危険な小悪魔になりえますぞ!」
なりえます = なり (成り) + 得ます, yes?
3. 「君たちがピクシーをどう扱うかやってみましょう!」
Is 君たち (as opposed to the speaker) the subject of やって?
4. インク瓶を引っつかみ、教室中にインクを振り撒くわ、本やノートを引き裂くわ、壁から写真を引っぺがすわ、・・・
I'm a bit puzzled by these わ's. I know わ as feminine emphasis, but what is it here? This is narrative text, not anyone's speech.
5. 虫よ去れ!
I assume that 去れ is imperative of 去る, but what is 虫よ? Could it just be よ for emphasis? Or have I split the phrase incorrectly?
6. 放り投げる
I gather that this is pronounced ほうりなげる which puzzles me a little. Is 放り a rare case of "on" reading with okurigana?
