Hi everyone, I hope all is good. Two weeks ago I posted a Japanese conversation on YouTube. I received a lot of great feedback so I uploaded my second video today. I made a ton of mistakes but I'm using the recordings to learn from them and to share them to others who are also learning Japanese. I think sticking together and forming a community is the way! Please let me know what you think.

Looks good. Do the instructors know you're recording them and putting them on Youtube?

BTW any questions you have about Japanese can be answered here as well. You don't need to wait for your video sessions.

Also where do you find online conversation partners? (Maybe I can convince my wife to do some work. :)

I listened to some of the session. Looks like a great way to get some conversation practice.
Back in the day I didn't have that option so I ended up having to move to Japan for practice like that.

One quick tip before the habit gets too ingrained is to try to avoid using めちゃ all the time to mean "very."
Especially if you plan to use Japanese in a professional setting. It's not rude but it's colloquial/casual.
It could be somewhat regional as well. I don't think I hear it around Tokyo as much as I hear ちょう
(which you also should not say as your default word). Use とても as your primary word.

Maybe ask your conversation partner and see what she thinks.

Just checked it out. Pretty cool. How often do you plan to do this. Like the idea you have the English translation also.
