I think everything is will be fine my friend. Your embassy will only receive your name after August 14. That's the reason our university want us to contact our embassy after this day. I think that's the reason why your embassy don't see your name in their list.

Thank you my friend !!!! I have contacted the university (I was kinda of complaining hhh) and they told me letteraly that I don'don't need the certificate of eligibility because the Mext covers the visa procedure. But tthey think that there no communication between the JP embassy in my country and the MEXT. But they will contact mext and they will inform me later!!! I will keep you a dated guys!!

I have just receive the tracking code. But I haven't hear about the dormitory information. How about you ? have you received any thing about that ?
Yeah me too. I wanted to ask about the dorms as well. I'll email them once I recieve the package. If you get any updates please do inform.

That is my case too (regarding the dormitory ) but the embassy I may contact them once I receive the air ticket!

Yes, I went to the embassy. They asked for:
1. Application form
2. Passport photo
3. MEXT Scholarship Certificate (Copy and original)
4. Passport. (copy and original)
Air tickets aren't necessary. So you can leave that column blank in your Application form. Also, Guarantor and Inviter would be your professor, so get his details.

I did not need air ticket to apply for Visa. Did you confirm with your university about flight schedule?

I have filled the aplication form for the flight schedule already and i also have contacted the cultural department and the responsible herself told me to contact the consulate once the ticket is available.
I am actually the first one to apply through uni recommendation in my country and the embassy (as they told me) don'don't know how to deal with me because they usually deal with the MEXT and they do not "receive orders from universities" hhhh.
Can you tell me if you have any idea when we will receive the final confirmation about the ticket please!!!
Yes, what the Japan Embassy in you country said is true. MEXT is the one that contacts the Japan Embassy in your country and gives information about you.
I don't know about your situation, but in my case, when I got email about official result from MEXT (Jul. 31), University told me to go to embassy after Aug.14 to apply for the VISA. About air ticket, I received the form on Aug. 4, received in formation about itinerary on Aug. 8, and got E-ticket form travel agency today (Aug. 15).
I know some MEXT scholarship recipients haven't got itinerary because their University requires them to be in Japan in late September, but they all were told to go to Japan Embassy after Aug 14 for VISA. You will need: copy of Admission Certificate and Visa Application Form and Passport to apply for Visa.

the embassy had contacted me last week and they asked me about the ticket again ! Because the ticket is one of the document that I have to submit to apply for the visa.
I am lost and I can't contact the university now, I will wait till next week at least.
Don't worry, you still have a lot of time. When will your class begin?
