I have a plank of wood containing Japanese Handwriting which I am working on,
Can any one here help me translate into English,

I have been trying it myself not so successfully,

I agree with you that its possible that the 中 is actually 巾 （幅）
[ from the context, Does this character mean Width or Cloth ?]

I do much appreciate your correction of my translation from すい あぐ to すじまで

The plank of wood above is shorter part of the frame for an Embroidered Cloth depicting landscape scenery, the scene contains mountains thus lead me thought that the two characters are 山

I'm not sure that the image can help in translation of the writing or not, but I hope so

The reason I don't think it's 山 is the (supposed) last stroke (the blue circles in the first picture). I believe the red circles in the second picture represent the same single kanji or 変体仮名. If those are 山, there must be another kana after 山 (between 山 and す in the left column, for instance).

巾 means "cloth" basically only in compound words. It's "width" as a single kanji.

Sorry for necroposting, but it seems to be:
此ぢハ厚サハコレテヨロシク
(この地はあつさはこれでよろしく）
巾此すじまで
(はばこのすじまで)
though I'm not absolutely sure about 地.
The red circled letter is not 山 but 此.

Don't know about the 山 or 此 but I thought to word directly after it is うら (meaning: reverse-side)

The second (or maybe third) character in the right column could be 分 in cursive script.

Actually, I consulted the same site and got 分.
The problem is that I once checked all the 936 examples in the site you linked, and got a result that there is no example that the two vertical strokes(the second and fifth stroke) are both omitted like the one in the picture. The most common 崩し字 is more likely close to け.

Actually, I checked them too.
But this plank seems to be not that old, and there may be difference of style
depending on times and person.
It makes sense if 此分 means something like "this part", and the extraordinarily long line of じ may be to indicate "this line".
