Hi there, I'm new, thanks for having me on here!

What I'm looking for is a Japanese-Japanese dictionary to download or buy on CD-ROM, as I don't have internet access at school but do most of my Japanese study there. I would like it to have example sentences for each word that I can copy and paste from the dictionary into my SRS program. An offline version of jisho.org, Goo or ALC would be perfect! Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Adam

If you have an iPod touch you could use "Kotoba!". It is based on Jim Breen's JMdict and has example sentences for a lot but probably not all words. I have found it useful and you may as well. :-)

Ah, thanks Petaris! But unfortunately I don't have an iPod touch :o( I have a Casio electronic dictionary which is really nice but to input the example sentences from it into my SRS I have to type them all out manually, which takes ages and is a pain. That's why I'm looking for a download or CD-ROM for my laptop. Tagaini Jisho I LOVE :o) - but it doesn't have example sentences (unless I'm not using it right, please please tell me if I can get example sentences on there!!!)
