If that helps: I was never so much a fan of gackt like I am of The Gazette and Miyavi even tho i dont know them for so long (maybe two years, Miyavi a bit longer). And I also feel inferior to the people who have been fans of them for many years =/
 
Erm. Actually I've only been a true Gackt fan since July of 2008. (I can't believe I just admitted that) ^_^ So I just tell myself that at least I already have so many amazing albums to listen to rather than having to wait for them to come out. AND he is still writing more!
 
i think it's not important how long you have been a fan for but how much you love the music and the person :) (at least that's what i'm telling myself^^)
 
you don't even have to like the person.
i don't like that gackt got so much work done. he should have just stopped at what he had with malice mizer instead of all that he got...
but i love his music no matter what his nose looks like.

So, erm...I was wondering... (this is an exceedingly random question, sorry) Is it just me, or does anyone else find Gackt's teeth AMANZINGLY sexy?

When I see this I was like: YEAH! That's exactly what I feel! No one should feel inferior towards anyone else. We are all equal in that we all love Gackt and his work no matter when we started liking Gackt =)

And yes! Gyc-jir, not you only haha, Gackt's so cute when he smiles. I like his lips and teeth. And everything else.... LOL! as Gacktistic as ever......
 
I't soooo annoying that Gackt dont play conserts in europe like Moi Dix Mois does :( and it even says on the dears site that people outside japan cant join dears :(
 
yeah it's really sad that he doesn't do any concerts in Europe... :( I guess now I would go definitely to Sweden, Germany or U.K. just to see his perfromance.. ugh... we should spam his myspace with requests :D

I definitely wish that Gackt would come a bit closer to where I live, but I'm not annoyed with him for not doing it. Really, Japanese people have every right to stay in Japan. Mana-sama is just incredible. Hence the open fanclub and tours.
.....But the idea of hundreds of angry fangirls mobbing dear Gackt's myspace is kind of amusing.....
 
Gackt-sama doesn't hold concerts in South East Asia either. But I think that's course South East Asia is either too poor to go concerts or too small to make much money from concerts -_-"
But then again, he doesn't come, it'll ease our pain a bit that we could join dears.... LOL! wishful thinking of mine.

aaaaAAAAHHHHhhhh..... *sheepish* Sorry, I misunderstood. ^_^ I thought that when you said "work" you meant writing music.
Well, now that I actually get what you are saying - I know what you mean, but I don't quite agree. He was adoreable then, but I am so used to the way that he is now that I really couldn't wish for it to be different. You are right though, when I first watched Verte Aile I just couldn't believe how pretty he was!
Funkykitty, I don't think there is much to know about her. Umm...she was Korean, we know that.
 
@funkykitty: There wasn't much publicity about Gackt's ex wife. Think a lot of people don't even know he was married before. Let me know if you managed to find out anything.

Actually when I read molestthyguitarists's post on Gackt should have stopped his work at Malice Mizer, I'd misunderstood too. LOL! For me, I don't know. I like Gackt whatever way he looked like. Not much change to me when he was in Malice Mizer compared to now.

yah gackt was married, there was some stuff about it on the miyavi forum... i just copypasted from there...
According to his autobiography he married a Korean woman and apparantly fans kept hounding them or something. So they divorced and he said that he would never marry again because he didn't need to be married to prove that he loved someone (or something like that, which I thought was sweet).
But I think it said something about his wife not being able to leave the house because of the anxiety or something. It really got to her.
True fans should respect their idols, not become obsessed with them to the point that it causes damage (be it physical, emotional or mental) to them.
I thought fans of JRock/Jpop bands and artists were much tamer than fans of Western bands because seriously, I've heard people expressing their joy when engagements between their favourite artist and their partner break off, and I was absolutely amazed when (for example) I was on a forum and people said "Oh, it would be nice if he was married, I think he'd make a good husband". But all fans are obviously the same.

What that post was saying is interesting. I was so annoyed when I read about fans doing things like prank calling Gackt's house. Why would someone annoy him on purpose?

I have actually thought many times that I would love it if Gackt got married. Mostly because he sounded so sad in his autobiography when he said something like that he hadn't had a girl that really loved him since he was 22.

I wish he could find his soul mate eventually and I wish she will be a strong one to bunish any ******* who dare to hurt him :eek:
and those fans how they can even called themselves fans.if you love him so much why hurtting him or his family.ooooh I'm so angry now.

I was actually looking through the translation of Gackt's autobiography again today, and I was surprised to see that it looks like Gackt got married when he was 19! I had pictured him to be much older than that. Especially because it also talks about the 'crazy fans', and I wouldn't have thought that he was popular enough to have any of those yet.
 
aww all his songs nowdays seem to be walking through the darkness alone and unloved for eternity, never forgiven for something or other... aww... i'll marry him XD we'd get along quite well. i never leave the house anyway, and i hate the darkness... lets ignore teh fact that hes like 30 and i'm like 17 :-) age's just a number.
