Thanks a bunch Uncle Frank! 🌹 Now how do I get the picture in here? Sorry I am terrible with computers! I saved the picture to my desk top and thought I could drag and drop it here...it doesn't work...help! 😊
 
Goldengirl if you have got the picture on your desk top then you can upload it onto here by doing this:- Click on the Go advanced button when replying to a post, scroll down to underneath the reply box and you will see a new box called Additional Options, you want to click Manage Attachments, that opens a new window and lets you upload pictures stored on your computer and post them on here, Click the Browse button, find the picture on your PC, select it and then Click on the Upload button, and then post your reply just like Ive done with a picture of my jack russel when he was a puppy :)

OMG, your puppy is ridiculously cute!!! I love watching how puppies walk kind of diagonally.
 
Thank-you so much! He does have the sideways wobbley walk...and sometimes his back paws go faster than the front and he does a nose plant!:giggle:

Oh yes, one thing I forgot to tell you was when you load up a picture, dont click the remove button like I did, it takes it away lol.

Thank-you...he's a black labrador retriever. His mom's heritage is the British style retriever and his dad is the taller more lanky American style. I hope he gets the British look! I love Jack Russels. Horses and jacks go together. What is your dog's name? I saw the most adorable show where they were racing jack russels, I never knew it was so popular here. They chase a lure through an obstacle course one dog at a time and then there is the group race which is just amazing!

The remove button...I never looked and never saw it! :) Your advice was perfect!
 
My fish's name is Mr. Fish and I had a cat named Kitty! :p I can't laugh at you! Ok, it's not original....and it did give me a little chuckle.:giggle: I guess from your name on Jref I was expecting something different! Does he have a registered name?

My apologies for taking so long to answer your post. The extra toes are genetic, like hair color. The page at the following URL explains the phenomenon (and Hemingway's name) better than I could by myself:

No Goldengirl he's just plain Jack, not registered at all, not quite certain if he is 100% pedigree. But he is a right little terror, trust me!

Thanks for that link, Anohito - I vaguely remember hearing about Earnest Hemingway living in the Keys and having cats. I've seen 6-toed cats in Alaska, which is closer to Russia than the mainland U.S. I don't know if I've seen any here in Virginia.
 
Say hallo to my cat, Tim. Tim's 9 years old and slightly overweight. You don't see it, but he's heavy when he suddenly jumps on my belly when I'm enjoying the spring breeze, flat on my back..

Gracie, our new cat

We have a new cat. We brought her home on December 12, 2007 and named her Gracie. She seems very happy with us, and we are delighted to have her with us.
