Mono-chan is still small and scared of everything. It was her first week with us. For some strange reason, she kept staring at me from the box, while my daughter was cleaning up her home. She didn't fidget or run even when I took out the camera and took her pic!
Is Mono-chan a house-pet mouse or pet guinea pig,actor George Clooney keeps a midget pig for house pet.My English-Chinese dictionary for guinea pig has definitions for a specific type of mouse and Dutch pig ?

I love pet hamsters,me and elder siblings had one for several years until we lost him and buried his remain in our backyard.

I've been told that "Guinea pig" is neither from Guinea nor a pig but a rodent. It becomes quite large for a rodent but not the size of a pig!
The Japanese name for this animal is "morumotto" from the European "marmot" but it isn't a real "marmot" (a type of squirrel). So, it has Japanese and English names that don't really reflect what it really is!

I don't know much about turtles, so can't say that much. Your turtles look well nice. I always think of turtles as being wise. The one on the bottom does have a cute look in the eyes. Nice pictures.
A very mysterious, and spell binding cat there miki78 san. It looks like it's just in time for halloween. But I bet he/she is soft, gentle and adorable to be with, purring in your arms and a cool autumn night as you watch TV or something. I like your cat. We have two at the house...and one dog. MM

Thankyou Mars Man ^_^ My Mako is a little girl she is only 8 months old she's really fiesty but so lovable she wakes me up by licking my face in the mourning and if that doesn't work she grabs my feet from under the covers LOL
She is so precious when i was looking for a kitten my bro spotted her being given away free

Here's one each of my two kittens... They're much bigger now, but I haven't taken pictures in a few months so here's the ones I took when I first got them (about five-six weeks old):
Chibi: We rescued her from their mom (and her owners) first, and intended to only get her. Named her Chibi entirely cause it was cute sounding, and by gods look at her at that age, although she's quite a bit bigger than her sister now.
Ninja : We fostered Ninja for about three weeks before actually deciding to keep her, and she's Ninja because especially when she was that size, nearly any joke on Real Ultimate Power (ie, totally flipping out) could be made about her. She's a little calmer now, and a little less coordinated than she originally was, but she's a not only a talker but also a biter--if you don't want to get up when SHE wants you to get up, you lock her out of the bedroom the night before.
Also, since there's not a lot you can use to tell the size they really are, here's Chibi up against the case for my Nintendo DS:
They're about six months now, so I guess I really should get some newer pictures.

Crusty is 7 years old now (I adopted him when he was about a year old and 4 inches long - he's now about 20 inches long!). I've heard that plecos can live more than 20 years, so I'm hoping I'll have him for a while (I think he's a "he").
Crusty likes a variety of music (I'm really not kidding!). He likes classical, flute music, soft rock, square dancing type music, and nature sounds (animals, birds, etc.). He really likes an old tape I have called "Northwoods Night" that has crickets, frogs and different birds.
I discovered that he'd "tell" me if he liked something or not by his behavior. If he doesn't like the music he'll either hide behind something or stay in his tunnel. I keep changing the CD/tape until he comes out, starts swimming around contentedly, and, if he really likes it, he'll get into one of his "listening to music" positions (a diagonal pose or resting his nose on top of his tunnel). I never knew before having Crusty that fish could be so expressive! (And the music isn't loud - very soft so that I can't hear it unless I'm in front of the speakers.)

Here is the most recent picture of Hemingway. During the winter we put a heating pad on of the chairs (not the recliner!), and put it on a low setting. Hemingway is 17 1/2; and we think he has arthritis. The heating pad probably feels very good to him. If you look carefully, you can see the extra toe on his right front paw.
I'm also including the last photo we took of Margo, his sister, who died a little over two years ago. You can easily see the extra toes on her front paws.
