A Message of support to all Burmese people.

I would like to take this opportunity to send a message of support to all the Burmese members of this forum and to all Burmese people across the world.
The eyes of the world are watching what is going on in your country via the various news agencies around the world. Your country is being made to suffer by certain generals in the military junta who do not want to hand over power to the democratically elected leaders of your country.
It is my wish that the suffering your people are going through ends and that the military junta do the right thing and let the people run the country.
Your nation is in my thoughts and your country is a beautifull place to be.

May the people of Burma have their country back please.

I get so upset when peacefull people get slaughtered. I have met so many nice burman and ethnic minority people from Burma in the past - all the nicest people -and my thoughts are with them these days.

Yesterday, I saw on TV how a japanese man was shot in the streets of Rangoon. I hope that Japan will now join the rest of the democratic industrialised countries and impose strict sanctions on this savage military regime!

I am that way too. It's so hard to read about peaceful people being murdered by the very people that are supposed to protect them. But that's the world we live in, isn't it? A few will murder many for the sake of themselves.

I can't really say that I hope the USA sends troops in because we can now see how that's turning out in Iraq, although I suppose Burma is a completely different situation than Iraq was.

Hopefully more innocent life will not be lost, that's all I can honestly say..
