I noticed across from the local movie theatre there was a sushi restaurant. So I go in and surprisingly they greet me with "Welcome!" in japanese (窶堋「窶堙ァ窶堙≫?堋オ窶堙。窶堋「窶堙懌?堋ケ) One of the people there, the lady, spoke japanese. I had alot of fun talking to her in japanese what little I know. I also had red bean ice cream. (the stuff they use anko)

Alright !! That sounds soooo good !! Especially the ice cream-well, I don't care for the sweet red beans so much, but on a day like today, the ice cream sounds like it would hit the spot.

I'm glad that you were able to use your Japanese some !! Good job...and go back again, and try it some more...speak more and more.

Hey cool! :p
Red bean ice cream sounds interesting, I wish I could find it over here! The weirdest ice cream I've ever tried was nettle ice cream (lol) - sounds so peculiar but the taste was soooooooo good... :liplick:... the nicest ice cream I've had! :)

Aren't there any shops that have a reasonably large selection of Asian foods near you? Even here in the wilds of Dayton*, Ohio, there is at least one store that sells adzuki ice cream (also green tea ice cream).

*we live in a suburb

Congrats👍
Glad to hear you enjoyed the experience.
